I must remember next time I'm in the club to tell any ex-miners I meet that they should retrain as a neurosurgeon. I may need the services of a facio-maxillary surgeon afterwards, but it'll be an interesting real world test of the power of assertion. (Incidentally, I know several MPs who're ex-miners and ex-steelworkers)

I and I think we don't hate the media just some of their methods..there is a difference and a balanced responsible media is an essential part of any healthy democracy...our media is one of the things that is wrong with our democracy.
Mrs Thatcher (the evil old bitch) is not without blame for the ailments of our society ,and to suggest otherwise is to blind yourself to the nature of our political development over the last thirty odd years
