Paul Walker, star of the hit movie series Fast and Furious has died after a car crash in california. he was 40.
Walker was a passenger in a red porsche which hit a lamp post and burst into flames.
He had been attending a charity event when the car lost control north of los angeles, the driver and Walker were both killed.
Paul Walker found world-wide fame from the hit Fast & Furious series which had six films including the last released in may.
Walker often used his own cars in the films (Nissan Skyline R34 GT-R V-Spec II) and also did a lot of the stunts.
Not only was Walker a good driver but he also was a racer which included time attack events where he often drove a M3 and also was part of a race team.
He starred along side many hollywood greats including Clint Eastwood but it is behind the wheel of a car Walker will be remembered by car racers and car builders.
Away from movies Walker was into marine biology with an interest in sharks.
Also he was heavily involved in charity work including this year in chile after a massive 8.8 earthquake Walker raced to the scene and offered help and aid.
He also flew to Haiti in 2010 and again helped to give out aid and provided help to those that needed it for his organisation Reach Out Worldwide.
Walker was also lined up to play The hitman from the video game series in 'Hitman Reboot' which started filming this year.
But it is for his Fast & Furious films along side Vin Diesel Paul Walker will always be remembered.
Paul Walker. Rip.
I've never (knowingly) watched any of his films but the first thought that comes to mind is "those who live by the sword, die by the sword".
I guess it's somewhat analogous to this chap's untimely demise...

go and dump over someone elses thread.
you contribute nothing but show your complete wasnt even driving the car if you read it properly.
bad enough you poked fun at the scottish over the helicopter accident you sicko.
stay off the forums if you cannot say anything nice.
According to the news Paul Walker was coming back from a charity event and was not even driving, I do not see the fact that he acted in a few films where he drove fast cars bearing on the fact he was a passenger when he died dunno
Oh dear, we have touched a nerve!
Wind your necks back in...
I didn't say he was driving, but suggested that he lived for fast cars and died in one - nothing more rolleyes
