its a issue i have with badly behaved children do you think that the parents should be made criminally responcible for their off-spring
most of the parents locally now make sure that my own little bit of england is kept polite and troublesome teenager free
this came about after a a few lads aged 12-16 decided to get drunk and smash up next doors garden and some property of mine i was out but soon found out who they where they lived i then visited all of them in turn and TOLD (not asked)the parents to put or pay for the damage to be righted
with in a week every thing was sorted and we not had any problems since i`m no bully but i did tell every one of the parents i held them responcible for there children`s actions
a post on another tread got me thinking a lot of these children to day would be on a tighter leash me thinks if this was the case

something I'm sure I saw on Sky News this morning about some teenagers being curfewed and only allowed out with their parents...
Would only work if their parents were not off their heads on some illegal (maybe some legal in some cases) substance or other boink

Ferrule children are just the extreme tip of the rank and file.
I think what we have is fine, I would like to see more help for folk in distress be they young middle or old.

are you saying that kids running around our streets in packs killing fathers,dads,bothers terrorizing neighbourhoods etc is fine and just need a little more support and understanding ???

i don`t really subscribe to the bullshit that kids just need something to do i`m more of a subscriber to bad parenting is to blame in a very large percentage of cases
the punishment of the parent i think would make for a much more concerned parent as to what their children where getting up to
kids of 12 years old out drinking and walking the streets till gone midnight doesn`t need support or understanding it needs the questions asking what sort of f**king parent are you letting a 12 year old do this
it does make me wonder for a modern day Ben street party stella and a spliff being served and vodka jelly for afters wink

Benny does not subscribe to your way of thinking. The newspapers are to blame for all this scaremongering. There is no such thing as a feral child. There are no kids that do the things you have mentioned. All kids are in bed by nine with loving parents looking over them. It is all a myth made up by the likes of the Daily Mail with the only purpose of selling papers for profit.
Problems with out of control kids? Never in wonderful leftie Labours world it is all the rags fault I tell ya!!

You are right something has to be done about this.
I have a suggestion. Why dont we establish communities where all the ferrules and their parents can live. It should be quite cheap, much cheaper than prison if we give them the minimum standards of health care, education and policing. Leave them to get on with it and we the respectable can get on with living decent lives. Ban the daily mail and we wont even need to read about them.
I know nothing about these issues of course and doubtless someone will tell me that this has been tried before.

Check out Bexleyheath at say around every school day matey for starters. Hordes of Police outside the clock tower, trying to contain school youths from either fighting or causing mayhem in the shops, and when they get onto the buses. Making that one up am I?
Or on a Saturday night, well not as often as it used to be as Bexleyheath is a ghost town now compared to what it used to be.
Then take the drinking establishments there. Now remember that I know personally who owns two establishments around there, want names then pm me. He is invited to the local council and Police meetings as an owner, and he gets to see privileged information on arrests along the Broadway....I think you would be rather suprised as to how many there are in any three month period.
What about the Dray...? Care to tell me why that pub is now shut? Now do not guess as IF you really know the area you will be able to tell me the REAL reasons for this.
Do you know the arrest figures as a percentage of that area? Do you actually know the problems that area has faced over the last three years? You see at meetings that councils and the Police and Publicans have they discuss such matters which in a lot of cases is not told to the public.
Bexleyheath of an evening is a shithole, hence why now on a usual Sat night the establishments are never anywhere near full....you want to hazard at a guess as to why this could be?

i hasten to add are not owned or run by the news papers

As Mal mentioned the topic for debate is 'Terrorist Children', not Mr. Powers, Lizaleanrob, Kenty, Mal, myself or anyone else.
If you find another member unappealing then either ignore their posts or discuss it in an adult manner via PM. Don't bring it onto the open boards.
