This has to be a joke....no not that Tesco's are going to ban people for not dressing properly when entering it's store but that anyone would actually go shopping in their PJ's fgs.

Now I do not know about you but when I get up I have a good wash, and then the most important thing is to get dressed?
Do people actually leave the house to go shopping in their PJ's? Are people really that lazy that they cannot bother to get dressed now?
I know around here there are a few " birds " that dress like they have just gone around the block with Mike Tyson, but jeeze...not to get dressed when you go out is just plain lazy.
Still three cheers for Tesco.
If this was April the 1st I would have assumed that it was a practical joke. lol
What made me laugh was when she said " ‘I won't be bothering with Tesco anymore, I'm off to Aldi ". Kind of sums it up.
Also when she was moaning about " does anyone realise how hard it is to get three kids ready for school? ". Ermmmm yes I do remember but ya see I got up early enough to still have my wash and to get DRESSED.
Suggestion....go to bed a bit earlier or set ya alarm half an hour earlier, I do not think she needs a lot of make up.
There are many many lazy people about and i have actually seen people in Sainsburys here asked to leave because they were still in pj`s, its usually the 5 kids by 5 dads brigade or the chavs here though.
Well done Tesco and i so hope you go on to rule the world!!
Did you know that 4000 chavs a year die from alchohol abuse from cheap booze bought at Tesco`s............................ every little helps!!!

You will have to wait a while longer they will still be in bed waiting for Countdown and Deal or no deal before they get up to go shop lifting.......ooops sorry shopping!
in general i agree with the shops policy
altho where i live some people do go to the local shop wearing their nite clothes (not me tho)
however there is one occasion when i took child number 3 (who is an adult) to a supermarket and they were wearing niteclothes with a hoody on top !!
there was a good reason tho, their dad had just died and they were ill and had an emergency prescription and the supermarket had an out of hours pharmacy, there was no way i was leaving that child in the car while i went to get the prescription so they came in with me
if anyone had tried to prevent me ... well god help them is all i can say !!!!
Makes me proud to be a Cardiffian! :smug:
Seen loads of chav's in thier pj's shopping, it's the new 'uniform'!
lol   I go to work everyday suited and booted and looking and smelling okay.
Sunday morning I can look like a bag lady and I do it as I love it being scruff of the year. I go to the tip like that Tesco's like that and in the past my kids have dispaired of me. So its not only chavs

"Five kids by five dads" - would be a good name for a boy band, whatever one of those is.
Plim :lol2:
  I do not have any PJs...
It's not the wearing of pj's in itself that I would be concerned about. It's the obvious lack of a wash/shower that it implies. You have to assume these are the same people who don't bother to wash their hands after using the shop's toilets and then go and pick over the unwrapped fruit and veg. And there are plenty (ie too many) of those dirty buggers.
I can understand the emergency situation. And I have certainly bundled my son up in pjs and a coat (when he was much younger than his current 22 years of course) when alone at home and in need of essential shopping. But the ones that do it habitually appall me.

Next week in the paper that supports the Blackshirts 'Why you should be arrested for wearing sports clothes when you're not at the gym', 'why it's a sin to wear boat shoes when you're not on a boat', and then across two pages of the centre of the paper, 'Brown shirts or black shirts for summer - fashions tips for the up to date fascist...'
I would actually argue about the "lack of wash" assumption.
I know folk who have going out pyjamas... apparently especially useful on a Saturday when you go to the hairdressers to get your rollers done and your false lashes applied. PJs are button down, so you can easily get them off without spoiling the hair and makeup when you're getting ready to go out for the night. :giggle:

The BBC website also ran the story ...but no doubt you will have disparaging things to say about it too!

You've met my neighbours then....
Is this a better source for you then?

Or... this one may well be to your taste?

Thought I would use another couple of examples as I know you do not like some papers.

Oooohhhh, you're trying so hard.
I didn't deny the story. I just had a laugh about the Daily Mail. And you bit.
Result.
Yeah ok. wink
I was just reading this thinking that those surprised by people doing this must not have been to Liverpool lately but Nola's summed up the goings on quite nicely! :lol2:
