Well I thought I would have a laugh ( sorry ) browse through the Guardian today, for a change.
It seems this story was their front page story. lol

Well I have heard it all now. Let em sleep in for a lot longer, then they will not turn up for school looking like Zombies.... what about the little loves going to bed a bit earlier?
People use every excuse under the sun nowadays for bloody everything, instead at looking at the REAL issues.
Sleep deprivation for kids? Yes we know why that is.
For the record I did not get onto page two of this paper, as I came over all faint. wink

As long as the school day remains the minimum in length as it is now I see no problem other than an improvement in traffic congestion and possibly helping parents to sort different work arrangements around scool hours.
This is a "pioneering head teacher" like Jo Brand is a pioneering dietician.

They could all go to "Bettys" for a nice mid morning tea and scone before going onto school then, its an excellent idea.
