The Elderly Avatar Retirement Home

OK, here's an idea, that may or may not work...
You know you have that avatar, you love it and people comment on it, but then it gets a bit old and you feel like chucking out the old one and replacing it with a newer model... send the old avatar here! We'll look after it it and let it live out it's days, peacefully surrounded by other old avatars, come and visit it on sundays... just like you would with some aged old crone of an Aunt... AND , if you ever want to UN-retire an avatar you know where to find it !!!
There are also a few people who have retired avatars you'd love to just look back on and remember them... mine is the retired OckySweeties one... (oh! still get all funny at the mention of it!)
Obviously it has to be hosted somewhere, and they HAVE to be avatar sized!!!! I recomend imageshack as it's free and dead easy to use. click here : Thanks to ImageShack for Free Image Hosting

Erm... no i didn't ... had that one a while ago, it was just before the tabby cat and after the "cute cat" .. so nerrrr.... (back me up someone!)

yes havnt been here long but am on my 5 avaatar they take me about 45 seconds to make a new one so one for each day will do me lol

anyway its all about quality not quantity lol these avatars are fee to very good home :welcome:

Sorry Matt, but i am with Vix on this, (and Vix do you want the job of Matron of the Nursing Home for elderly avatars???) ...
Matt if you make a new avatar every day, you'll end up flooding this retirement home with some very good and groovy Av's... making our bunch of Av's look lame and boring, but yours wont mean a thing to anyone who uses this site regularly...
and besides... an avatar is supposed to be loved and cherished for weeks and months, thendiscarded. (and that flashing one is doing my fe*king head in!)
Anyhows... Thanks to everyone who has put up some of their old avatars... it was like a trip down memory lane! Vix, your first one, the cartoony type, was what you were using when i first joined the site...
So, feel free to dig out those old avatars, tucked away in a lost corner of your computer... it's like a little online scrap-book of the forum, aint it!
