The facts,

The thats all we had comment was followed by a qualifier,we were not taking any suspect had killed a deputy and spent all night in the executed the deputy at point blank range with two shots to the had the deputies gun,and was obviously willing to use it.
It is procedure whenever an armed suspect is fired on that all weapon are discharged untill it is known they are no longer a threat, this country follows the same cannot shoot to injure like in the movies.
Now what point were you making exactly?

Why was the same principle not exploited in the case of Moat then....

Reading between the lines the tazer was fired to stop him killing the officers had been given the order to open fire they would have all done so.
The case of Jean Charles de Meneze being a case in point.

Having been tazered (for fun !!) i can tell you that your natural reaction is to "compress" as opposed to "express" when tazered so no real surprise that his finger compressed onto the trigger and he blew his own brains out. The Police know thie body reacts this way to electric shock so it surprised me that he was tazered whilst holding a gun to his own head.
Having said that, goodbye and good riddence toss pot - he didn't deserve the extra days he had on this earth after what he did - he was not a man - he was a prehistoric, uneducated idiot.

Amen to that! May he be swiftly followed by the armchair warrior tossers on Facebook who are supporting this evil minded piece of donkey shite.
The shot PC deserves a medal. His measured responses are a credit to him, his family and his chosen profession. He truly is an inspiration to us all about what puts the "Great" in Britain! and we should be proud of him.

The bit in bold is wildly wrong. Sorry.
