Sadly, I somehow doubt it will have any effect on the Chinese government and their treatment of this "dissident" and enemy of the state.
Western Governments are too tied up chasing lucrative contracts with China at the present to upset the apple cart hence the stance so far taken by Europe with the Sates soon to follow no doubt.
China just now seems omnipotent.

We import loads from China and so do others, and a lot of the worlds debt is owed to them,
We all have to take responsiblty for that.
To much power has been given to them, but like most strong powers in history have fallen it is only a matter of time I believe.
Until people wake up and see the impacts our own actions greed and wants produce sadly this is always going to happen.

It sounds like you are against that because of his colour. I personally don't believe any leader of a country should get the award irrelevant of what colour they are.

I believe he got it because he was the first black President.
I am not against that because of his colour, I am angry because that is the only reason he did get it. His colour should be irrelevant but is is not when giving out this award.

He got it simply because he was the first black President, so in this instance his colour it seems is relevant. Which makes this prize a laughable load of bollocks.
