So he is back - it is official.
Can't help but think that like all relationships that break up - the underlying differences never go away second time around. But hey - Mr Abramovitch doesn't seem to have made many bad decisions. Not to mention that The Premier League is also much more entertaining with Mr Mourinho around.
Get ready for the soap opera - season 2013/14.
I think the post is about Mourinho and Chelski rather than Manchester United.
It has been interesting to listen to the more intelligent Blues supporters on Talk Sport today. Not all were behind the move with many pointing out the bad feeling in the dressing room after he left, the bad feeling in the Real Madrid dressing room today and a simple observation that he has played this suitor game so well because he had nowhere else to go other than Chelski.
Don't get me wrong, I find him very entertaining and I am glad he is back but I think some of their supporters may be looking back with rosé tinted spectacles.
Forget all that.....Kevin Jacket signed a one year rolling contract at the Wolves.....now there is a story....he is our very own special one...lol
How can a gossip column from a news station more trashy than the Sun be taken as gospel. Mourinho was never destined for Manchester United because he is not of the mold required. If Moyes was second choice - why give him a 6 year contract? It does not make sense.
There is no comparison between Moyes and Mourinho - one is loud, brash, divisive and unable to stay at any club for very long and so was only given a four year contract. The other is the Manager of the most famous football club in the world and was given a six year contract.
The Premier League will be interesting next season for sure because it will not be the two horse race that Mourinho had last time. This time he has Man City, Spurs and an improving Arsenal to contend with. I predict very spiky London Derby's next season.
Wayne Rooney is a petulant spoilt brat and his 2010 outburst about United not showing ambition was matched the following year with the arrival of RVP. Seems like Wayne was not really questioning Uniteds ambition after all. He would probably be well suited in the company of the other over-paid spoilt brats at Chelski. He just needs to keep Colleen away from John Terry or it maight be her playing away next time, not Wayne.
The "gaffe" by David Moyes is the same line of gaffes that have been spun out of Old Trafford since the end of the season. No love for Wayne, no chance of his contract being renewed, but he is not for sale. It is simply about forcing Rooneys hand to ask for a transfer. Being the money grabbing soft lad that he is, he does not want to do that as it would mean losing all of his loyalty bonuses for the remaining two years of his contract.
United could not really afford to lose a Wayne Rooney who is at the top of his game, but his days for United are surely over now and he only has himself to blame for the current situation. I just hope that he can be replaced with a couple of really top quality attacking midfielders which is what United need more than a soft arsed primadonna.
I want to know who are these " over paid spoilt brats " that are at Chelsea Rob? Over paid is a matter of opinion and brats well.......
I think there are a few other clubs that have just as many brats and certainly over paid than Chelsea do, but then anyone who refers to Chelsea as " Chelski " shows their true colours right from the off Rob.
Rob I think Moyes wants rid of Rooney but does not want to be seen as the bad guy by the Man Utd fans. There is obviously bad blood between the two still, and it was highly reported at the time that Rooney and Moyes had fallen out just before Rooney left Everton. I think Rooney certainly looks the type that can hold a grudge.
Moyes has enough on his shoulders without a nobody player giving him extra aggro that he could well do without. I certainly do not want him at my club Rob, but sadly these are the games they must play nowadays to seal the deal so to speak. I believe it is inevitable Rooney will leave Utd and I believe it will be much sooner than later. JM is playing the usual minds games with the player but I think Moyes wants shot of Rooney, as having him at Old Trafford can only make things worse for him.
forget the arguments...forget the money....fact is Rooneys best days are gone. He started playing first team football at 17.....he is now burnt out. Man United would do well to cash in with a few quid whilst they are still able.
Even the Croats are bored with this story now... Me too... Do us a favour Roo and ask for a transfer, then you can be shipped off and licked all over by the special one.
Croatia supports United...
as a united season ticket holder....i think rooney has a right to put in a transfer request if he wants....but in the same breath we have the right to call him a fat overweight scouser.....
Last season he was OK....not his best season but not his worse either......I think the problem with him is that he wants to be No1 he always has said that. Unfortunately he has lost the pace and power that made him such a great talent when we bough him from Everton
In the modern age...4 4 2 doesn't work, and as a team united like to play with 2 wingers. this means rooney has to play in the hole (not the first time allegedly) ...this means to play the modern way sacrifices have to be made....
I personally would like to see us cash in and sell him abroad...
