I have long suspected this one. In particular 'Chef de Capri (and that is an Essex Capri, not some fancy foreign place)'. Twice we have been caught, Essexboy quotes -
You can't put too much Olive Oil in anything
You can't put too much Thyme in this recipe
.... I have news for you Jamie. If you put too much Olive Oil in food it is greasy and has to be scooped out. But by far your worst crime against cooking .... if you put too much Thyme in (I warned her, but Kay fell for your silver tongued words) the soup is so fragrant with Thyme even the dogs won't eat it.
Isn't he the chap charged with the task of feeding the UKs school kids?
No wonder they are all hyperactive
Ah Non. Even I wouldn't blame him for that one. Je blâme l'passé premier M. Brun et Blair....
Thyme is one of those herbs that I find a bit too dose sensitive.
If I use just a little too much minx complains of a "burnt" taste.
Jamie Oliver set off on a crusade to revolutionise school meals rolleyes
Mokney Twat ....

Now I think back that is the taste ... at the time it was just wrong ... but Minx has probably nailed it with a burnt taste smile
