Pretty much as the title says. I bought my starter kit Thursday and upto today I haven't touched a regular cig since. Thats about 4 days smoke free I appreciate the nicotine is still there but you can gradually reduce dosage so to speak. Just like patches etc. I've joined a related forum and the advice I'm getting is a bit overwhelming there is an awful lot of various kits and mods available. I really had no idea how big that business is. Anyway who's tried it, who's doing it and what sort of success are you having if any ?
My older sister has been smoking since she was about 11 and due to health reasons she has now got to give up. She used to smoke about 20 a day and She started using the E-cigs she has been able to cut back to about 10/15 a week, which is a huge improvement. She is hoping that over time she will be able to fully give up.
A neighbour of mine uses e-cigs instead of the real ones, he seems to have no problem with them although he did get some ribbing at first I've never tried them, gave up smoking the day I had a heart attack, but fully appreciate the need for the hands to be occupied and e-cigs seem to fit the bill.
4 months along the line of being an e-cig user and from the first weekend of using it i have not had a real cigarette. .. neither has my partner who is so impressed with them he is now selling them lol
i tried champix but it wasnt for me, tried the e cigs which were great as long as i stuck to the super strength ones from the internet, unfortunately gone back to real ciggys where i will stay when i stop smoking other things that require tobacco ;) J
