(Sir) Andy Murray and Scotland for emphatically winning the Wimbledon title for the first time (for the UK) in 77 years.

Yes well done Andy. It was a brilliant match and that last game, I wonder how many in that crowd thought he would lose it and then the match? Gripping stuff and was thoroughly deserved and imagine playing at that level and speed in that heat.
Well done again Andy. Not Scottish today but British.
Don't steal the limelight of our friends, allies, neighbours and proud compatriots, this was Scotlands day gaining a victory for themselves and for Great Britain. They will be proud of what he has achieved for them as we are of what he has achieved for all of us.
Scotlands sons have once again been triumphant and we are as we always have been, lucky to have them as our partners, though sadly we did not always treat them as such.
Can I also add a well done for Chris Froome for riding a blinder yesterday and again today as he was out on the front all alone battling to keep the yellow jersey :thrilled:
vive la tour
