So Wales heads to the polls tomorrow to vote in the referendum to decide whether or not we grant the Welsh Assembly greater powers in making laws in the devolved policies. So my fellow Welsh Swingers, will you vote Yes, No, or will you just simply waste your vote and decide to stay away from the polling booth? I just hope whatever the outcome there is a big turnout at the polls. A big turnout at any election/vote will make the politicians wake up and start looking after our interests again, not how much expenses they can claim. In my own opinion, I will be voting No as I don't think the Assembly deserves /could handle any greater powers at present.
No matter what the result of the referendum will you still boo the British National Anthem that so many Welshmen died in the defence of as you did during the last England v Wales game ?
i am english living in wales working in a rugby club, was good banter there as normal for the wales v england match and no trouble unlike at most football darby matches in england in the pubs will be voting just not saying how
im welsh and i have served my country in the armed forced as well as in civvy life. i am proud to be welsh and proud to be british, even though i think this country is going down the tube as far as immigration, redundancies, unemployment and cost of living are concerned. i am to old in the tooth to head abroad to live but i worry for my children and younger generations who will face even harder times , maybe even civil war! :sad:
