With my membership coming up for renewal soon and Christmas fast approaching I don't know if I can justify renewing my membership this side of Christmas.
I was just wondering what happens with your profile?
Does everything get cleared and you have to start from fresh?
Would all my silly ramblings on the forums be lost forever?
Would my user name be available to be used by someone else?
I wonder if anyone knows the answers, Thanks all.

Awww thanks, I have looked to see what happens but I have never been sure.
So you can just rejoin at any stage and everything is how you left it?
Yup! You're account remains just as it is, with all its history, including your PM box I assume. All you lose are priveleges that allow you to post, PM, chat, reverting to a free membership. It would make no sense if that wasn't so . . . Admin want you to sign back up to a full account as you, not as a new member entirely.

I took an 8 month break from SH a little while back and I did miss the forums and it's users. I did sneak back a couple of times.
Something pretty unique about this place.
Hopefully I stall return sometime in the new year, I am please I wont be lost and gone forever, it took a long time to write over 5000 posts. :shock:
