One of my skills for life students bought me a big bunch of flowers to say thanks after she passed her numeracy exam .... some people are soooo lovely and the look on her face made me realise why I love my job ... cos I'm good at it!!

Oh and what has made me smile today? Personal development: booked my ticket to a great conference in a few weeks and I have spent this week learning shedloads of stuff I can use to get better at my job.

Has also dropped a dress size and has that irritating problem of works trousers ass hanging down the back of my knees. Its not a good look but feck it, my debit card will have to take the strain for a new wardrobe.
