It's a good iGimmick that Apple have come up with to advertise their products. I have to iAdmire them for that.
I have an iPhone and an iPad, and the boy has an iPod. I tend not to say or write iPhone as I am still in the old ways and just say "phone". I have even had people correct me and say, "no, you have an iPhone" :eeek:
But iPad... I say "iPad" not tablet, as a tablet is something else (something you take when you're ill). And also iPad is easier to type than tablet as it has less letters.
And iPod. Well, that's just an iPod. That's its name. I wouldn't know what else to call it.
The reverse capitalisation is just a bit of iIndoctrination for me now. Apple products auto-correct you when you type such product names without using the reverse capitalisation, and I have continued to do it (as now) when not using an Apple product
How can you tell if someone's a vegetarian?
They'll tell you.
If Apple make a vibrator people would be suing them because it made them go blind.
I have heard people say " My Blackberry."
As far a I see it iphone/ipad/ipod are trade names of a product. Whereas phones/tablets/music players are a generic term to describe various forms of technology from a multitude of manufacturers.
If you don't like it then stop talking to people about it. It's not going to go away
I have a number of iproducts
iPod
Ipad
iPhone
And a Mac mini........
And I yes I don't care lol
