I'm just surprised you missed that option off the poll since it seems the obvious thing to do. lol
This country is so far away from any meaningful social disorder its unreal. People can quote the race riots of the eigties or the miners strikes or the poll taz demo's But come on apart from those involved there was no serious threat to the social fabric of this country. The comfort level of the majority is engineered (theres that word again) to be too high for any serious uprising of the masses. Theres not even a whisper in the wind of a national social uprising, Can't see it until the brownouts & real food shortages start. Not even if you took the ste support money off the millions unemployed would it acheive much. the many more millions are too comfy.
I sort of think the idea of revolution is a great idea though very romantic and I'm probably far too happy sat here dabbing away on a keyboard rather than soap boxing it somewhere or demonstrating with the risk of a beating from the police if it gets rowdy.

I think the one thing that " could " spark something is immigration issues.
I read a lot about tensions up and down the country, and in some communities it is nearing breaking point, and as we have sen in very recent years, it only takes a spark to ignite it.
Theres the rub 777 in "some" communities. If it was in all communities and all of the population felt, and i mean felt, that it was an issue that was fundamentally compromising their individual and collective freedoms and also their own standards of living, then pockets of dissension are going to be all their is.
Each and every time that little dissension becomes anything other than mildly more news worthy than a Jeremy Kyle 'contestant'failing a lie detector test, then action will be taken by the authorities to placate the public but not quite doing whats required or wanted but by moving the goal posts.
It isn't the same as history nowadays. Information = power. Why else do you think that we have camera's watching us every minute of everyday and I'D cards looming. Control of information and the rate its received and communicated is why nothing will happen.
It guess it is possible for something to happen but only after some extreme and I mean extreme incident. Something such as a nuclear accident or a massive earthquake. something which has an effect on all of te people and for which there is little or no control of lateral breakdown of national physical infrastructure i.e transport power water communication links. And think in this country how massive that catastrophe would have to be for our country not to be able to deal with, huge.
I'm sorry but Man has no say the state dictate's - "another brick in the wall kent" We're all in the machine.
Revolution? No, I dont think so - selfish self preservation and that phrase social engineering will prohibit such an act.
There's far too many viewpoints already to reply to or comment on so I won't even try, just say what I think and be damned ( not for the first time either rolleyes )
This country is run by money grabbing liars who are only interested in how things will affect them and damn the rest of us. Policies are made by the people behind the Govt ( think 'Yes Minister' and you won't be far wrong! ) and the real decisions made by the money makers ( ie the New World Order )
Personally, I have given up voting. It doesn't matter who you vote for, the outcome will be the same - the great divide getting wider and wider until there is only Them and Us and no one in between.
I will refuse to bow to the ID card ideal(oxymoron if ever I saw one!) The powers that be know everything about me as it is without my having my movements recorded too
I will refuse to be ordered to take the flu vaccine - there's enough chemicals being absorbed into my body through the atmosphere without me adding to them
I will continue to buy my food organic for much the same reason as above
I will continue to pay extortion to the Govt by means of being taxed on everything I buy and use until the day I retire when I will give a big 'fuck you' sign to the place of my birth, in which I used to take pride, and piss off abroad
