An individual's vote has no value. It changes nothing, it is worth about 1:40,000,000.
There is no such thing as the power of the vote. There is the power of everyone voting. However that is only true if there are 2 or more things worth voting for.
As far as I can see, for the last 20 years there hasn't been ONE thing (party) worth voting for. That makes voting a waste of my time and the counter's efforts.
Yes, government affects me, but NO I have no influence over HOW it affects me.
i disagree flower,
house prices will fall
rent's will probably come down but be no more affordable because everyone will have less money
there will be a shortage of some foodstuffs and energies because of a breakdown in the supply chain and a general breakdown in trade. as the lack of available credit to importers and shipping companies take effect on an already squeezed industry, like the car industry, in the interests of national security (too big to fail) shipping companies will be asking for bailouts. you read it here first.
as the dollar and pound fall in value, so the price of gold will travel to the moon, then again, we dont need to worry about that, never liked the taste of it anyway.
theft from allotments will go up, demand for bmw's audi's merc's and jags will go down so not everything will go up !
flower, are you growin us sum sprouts to fart at christmas ?
oh and i forgot again, silly me.
base interest rate's will not rise. if they did in the foreseeable future, the economy would collapse.
...I will, I'll put clean pants on and everything!
lp
too hot and flower.....plenty around the world but the financial interests media's never gave them coverage because they knew that their puppets in government's around the world would underight their ball's up's with tax payer's money, thereby encouraging risk....too big too fail. the banksters should be arrested and the dept they have created repudiated. it's their dept not ours. the people have been robbed of the fruits of their labour's and are just realising they've been f$£ked. and if they dont know now, they soon will !
Maybe it should be law to vote?
Well it seems the Tories are going to target those on incapacity benefit.
We are the healthiest we have ever been in history, yet some 2.4 million are on this benefit. Something in the figures do not add up.
If there are people on this who can work, and it sems there are plenty, then it gets my vote to get those who can work...back into work. I bet there are a few shakey people out there now.
What will change if you (and others who are thinking the same as you right now)dont vote ?
