Hi, Unfortunately in an SH sense our time to trawl the site is considerably reduced due to V starting a new job. (but on the flip side, a great job see is really loving) When we looked in the forums we couldn't help thinking how quiet it was! Nothing about the recent floods, no advise on how to grab a Christmas snog under the mistletoe. Please don't tell us this site is entering it's late middle age with quiet resignation to the inevitable whilst wearing comfy slippers and drinking coco?
The forums have gradually slowed to a virtual standstill since they were re-formatted some time ago. When there were fewer options, with regard to where to post, the whole thing had a fresher look to it. Fresh posts, even the uninteresting ones, have become rarer, and many have lost interest, I suspect because there is seldom anything new to respond to, and if there is anything new it has to be sought out rather than popping up in front of you. Posts and readers are dwindling, so it's just not the same, and it's difficult to foresee any imminent improvement.
everyone seems to have retired, moved to a certain other site, just use facebook or have disappeared into the ether. It doesn't help that the forum is now hidden away in a sub menu
The forums, as us long term residents here knew them, are finished. The site has evolved....for the better or worse is a matter of opinion. The site is now about the ads and the chat rooms and cams. Those of us that used to like the banter of the forums are old timers. Times they are a changing !!
Tried over and over again to get the forums re-instated on the top bar of the homepage but to no avail, I could say more but wont as it doesnt go down well ;) Im running out of ideas of new threads to post, tried resurrecting old ones but as the forums seem to be well and truly hidden its a thankless task. If anyone fancies a banter in a group forum let me know, im happy to open one up
Archive all the forums to a cobweb filled part of the interverse with no ability to link or copy and paste it. Start a new forum with three sections Lets meet up, dogging and general chat. put a decent size link up right next to the chat room link. Lets give people veteran or new the chance to be able to talk about stuff without some jaded old timers putting up a link to a post with a blah blah blah we did this to death in 1765 and killing it stone dead.

Since posting the above, it seems the forums have yet again been re-formatted, and are now even less likely to attract either new posts or readers, and I myself will be a less frequent visitor. If I cannot see the topics at a glance, then I doubt I shall be interested in scrolling in the hope of finding something of interest.
I've tried to post over the last few years, but the authorities won't allow computers in the cells, so it's been a few years. 6 years I think, 6 years for a bit of poaching, I ask ya, bit strong if you ask me, but I'm guessing that having previous form for the same offence, didn't help, as I've been caught before taking the odd rabbit or two, but it's only ever attracted a community service order and a few quid in compo for the land owner, this time they hit me hard, .
I've no complaints though, blame myself really, stayed in the area way too long, I'm normally in and out real quick, shoot it, cut a slit in a hind leg with my pen knife, force the foot of the other leg through the slit to make a handy loop then thread them onto me poaching stick and away, all done in less than a minute, but this time it took me hours and hours, especially the cutting and threading of the legs. ..
Still lessons learned, my pen knife and poachers stick aint necessarily the best tools for the job, and in Kenya, they are more passionate about their elephants than we are about our rabbits.
Nope sorry Angel it ain't Arti. I've checked me passport and been to have a look in the bathroom cabinet mirror (not an easy one that as we don't have a bathroom cabinet, but a quick trip to homebase to look in one of theirs cracked that little problem] and I can confirm I am who I thought I was

Hi all, this has to be my first post to the forum in about a year and the reason being this site is not the attraction it once was.
If we search for someone we'd like to meet within 50 miles of our home then we can find no one active within 30 days, one person active within 60 and another one active within 90!
It's a shame as we liked this site and had some great times here, in the chatrooms and forums as well as the bedroom, but we have moved elsewhere.
Wives are for fun, not just for Christmas ;)
