He's more of a leader from amongst as compared to our current fetish for sword wavers or cheer leaders, but maybe that's a function of his not really wanting to lead.

It will be a Miliband but Ed not David, i had £10 at 50 to 1 last Friday and thought it was a good bet.
Whoever gets the job wont be PM for at least the 5 years though because it is odds on that the legislation to make it a fixed 5 year term with no exception will be passed asap.

Ummmm, not that I think you'll care, but you seem to have confused Jacqui Smith's hubby with Harriet's hubby, who is now MP for somewhere in the Midlands.
Mr Harperson, who kept his maiden name of Dromey even after marrying Harriet, may be a porn watcher but he hasn't claimed it on her expenses. Whilst I can't claim to have knocked one out over the thought of Harriet getting her briefs in a tangle if I needed to get rid of a hardon in an embarassing moment it would be more likely to be Jacqui Smith or Ann Widdicombe I imagined than Harriet....

Watch this space, against all my Tory friends insistence 6 months ago that the election was a done deal, I predicted a Hung Parliament with the Tories as the largest party. Here is my prediction for the Labour leadership.
Leader - David Milliband
Deputy - Alan Johnson
It's a bit of a shame really because anyone who has a top lip that demands a moustache but does not wear it like Milliband (10 mins after he has shaved, the thing is back, Major was the same with a top lip you could land the Space Shuttle on) is clearly more interested in image than substance.
However all of the above is likely to be largely irrelevant as there is a very real prospect that politics has changed for the foreseeable future and that Labour will in future be consigned to the 3rd party role in British Politics.
Everyone I speak to down here is saying how they think the new arrangement will work well overall.
Fascinating stuff.

That reminds me, I once went to see a very bad comic and due to the parking arrived inside a little late, the comic was on stage, me sporting a bloody smart mustache and girl Friend on my arm.
