so we are seeing the end of a labour government just like we saw the end of a tory government and while its very easy in opposition to say what you are going to do it much harder when you are in government at the beginning of the credit crunch David said we should be saving money not spending it and we should let the banks go to the wall what would the country be like today if we did what iCELAND did no banking system in Britain and 20million plus unemployed.
Some of us can remember the last Tory government POLL TAX. 6 month waiting to get into hospital book sharing in the schools
I expect on the BBC he will be said to be the most popular prime minister for decades that is until he introduces his fuel esculator that will increase the cost of petrol and he increase interest rates which means if it increases by 0.5 % then that will double your repayments
so while it is easy to follow the media think for yourselfs the grass isnt always greener
who is David Cameron?
lp
I think some of the people off this site, will be a good choice, MP's come out with a loads of bollox, can never agree with each other and the debate goes round and round in circles, at times, similar to here really at times!!

Would that be an additional fuel escalator to the one that Labour last used at the beginning of this month, adding an extra 2p to the cost of petrol/diesel? Also, the base rate may well be .5% but mortgage rates and loans are certainly not at that rate, so another .5% on base rate will not double people's repayments.
It is very likely that our kids and then their kids will have to pay off the profligacy of this goverment.

or to spend more time with their family...
As most of you know I am not a lover of Labour. I did vote for them when Blair first came to power, as I really thought that after years of Tory rule and their spin, it would be a refreshing change.
I have seen what a mess this Government has done over the last....how many years? This country is about as messed up as it gets.
I now think the time is for change. I think Cameron is a really decent guy, who will inherit a load of shite when he comes to power. It will take years to fix, if it ever can be.
I know most MP'S are greedy liars with their heads so far in the trough of getting public cash into their pockets but....I think Cameron is not one of them.
I believe that by the time we go to the polls next year, it will be even worse than it is now, as far as the economy and the financial crisis goes.
Whether or not he can make things better only time will tell but....this sleazy corrupt and shameless Government HAVE to go, and they will. With the biggest defeat in Labour history I reckon.
So if there are any doubters out there who have not decided who to vote for, then may I suggest having a listen to him on " Gauntys " NEW show, which happened on Monday. He was witty and honest and seems like a very decent guy.
All the political parties and all politicians are the same, it doesn't matter if it Lib/dem, lab, or Con, the decissions will still be made by the same group of people and nothing wil change.
I agree with Davide Icke, who seems to have this so called "credit crunch" well scouted. A problem was created with the obvious reaction anticipated, and the solution was planned. We are now heading for a horrific world recession that will see "bail out" money exhausted and the economy crash.
We will then be "saved" when they step forward with a globally centralised banking dictatorship based on a World Central Bank.
They want total globalisation, and they are going to get it.
