We are looking to book on to the René Oltra campsite in July/August 2026 as our usual apartment is fully booked. Has anyone experienced of staying on the campsite?

Do you mean in a tent, a caravan / motorhome or one of the chalets ?

We will most likely be booking into one of the 2/4 birth cabins/chalets. Managed to find details on the office website.

Of to Cap d’Adge this summer, for our fourth, between the 23rd July and 6th August, if you’re going to be there at the same time, say hello, always nice to meet new people and to make new friends.

I'm staying at Rene Oltra 20-25th August. Seeking single, well hung men who may want to accompany me to the clubs.

We stayed at Rene Oltra at the end of May this year, in a Chalet Olympe 2 pers; it's too small for swinging. The double bed is accessed by a steep ladder and there's only just enough headroom for cowboy; we didn't even try doggy it would be too challenging. There is no other bed or sofa downstairs. If you want to swing in your own accommodation, make sure you've got the space to do it. Of course there's always the beach!

Yes we had sex on the beach, followed up by a cocktail of the same name.

The first week we are just outside the village, in a large apartment, second week inside the village again in a large apartments so headroom is not an issue. Looking forward to sun, sea and sexy fun.

Inside the village is better, though outside is cheaper.

Arrive on Rene Oltra for 2 weeks on 31st Aug

Ok after a few false starts I finally got down to Cap D'Agde yesterday and I am staying outside the village in a 1 bedroom appt near the Ferris Wheel. Tomorrow Saturday I am off to the naturist village sans vetement but I will not be hitting the beach. Not really a beach guy more of a sit back and watch the world go by at a harbour. I aim to spend the morning around Port Ambomie. Lunch will either be at one of the restos there or at La Terrazza at Port Soliel. If you see me there stop by and say hello. Otherwise I will be holding court at one of the bars near the Ferris Wheel later in the day.

I believe Berkshire_Clps first created this post about 10 years ago. They also still contribute and help hapless travellers like myself but and it is only a suggestion they/we should revitalise it for CdA 2027. New posts for the new year. Having just got back from the village I know that peeps want to know what's going on, prices etc. I stayed outside the village and bought a day ticket with car at 27 euros and ate and drank at the same prices as CdA town. Obviously the clubs etc are more expensive but still a great day out and I am already looking at repeating the experience before 2027 arrives. Met some people there from CdA town who just go there to unwind and sundowners. easy life at little money.
