We're off to Sri Lanka for two weeks in June. We would hate a holiday to go past without a bit of 'fun' but where do we find it? We're not sure whether the locals indulge, so we're wondering what other nationalities go there (besides us Brits). Are we looking for Dutch, German and Australian backpackers/tourists? If so, can we contact any before we go - are there any adult sites we can use?
Can anyone offer any help or suggestions, please?

Does anything adult happen in Sri Lanka?
I've been there before the tzunami, in a hotel I doubt to exist anymore (tzunami hit that area pretty hard).. went up with a friend, and we traveled with a dutch travel agency, so found mostly dutch, german and a few english people.
sadly I have to report that when we went, just about everything closed at 10 pm. little or no life at all after that.
if the locals play, they do so behind closed doors (the local ladies won't even take a swim in the sea without at least covered shoulders..and it's unheard off, so a local guy told us, for a young man to take a girl out for the night if she's not his fiancée)
this is of course based on what we were told, so might be inaccurate.
still...the holiday was worth every penny...but not for "sex related reasons"

Melting Pot - Thanks! Now, if there are a few guys like you over there, we're sure sarah will find something to keep her busy. We thought the locals might be rather modest and we don't want to get involved in any 'sex tourism' malarkey, so a visitor to Sri Lanka will do nicely. We assume from what you say that a fair few Dutch get over there?

have to say it's mostly a married couple sort of destination...I was there with a female friend that was just a friend, and we did not have anything going between us (even though after the first night the lady who did our room felt compelled to move our beds together..rofl..
..and that was kinda frowned upon by some of the locals..but all was very polite and not pushy..they were surprised and perplexed, but not judgemental.
a great holiday anyway, but because of nature, sea, monuments and population...sex just wasn't on the menù for us..lol

Hi guys, we was there last yr, end of november begining of december so nice and tanned for xmas lol, in answer to your post yes there are playing couples out there, before we went we posted on a few of the other sites that we belong to and got a couple of plys back, unfortunatly though we didnt recieve these until we had got home lol sods law.
