I have met with another member of this site who joined in June 2005 - it that sufficient time for the member to recommend that we as new members be invited?
The other question is regarding being a regular user of the site - like every two days or so would that be a qualification?

If a member is a regular user of forums or chat and known - they could vouch for you if they have met you !
Secondly contributing regularly to the site - getting yourself known - ie - chat or forums would enable you to attend a munch ,
