M74 is almost totally closed by snow. Reports of people taking 3 hours to travel 1 mile - but A7 is open!

There are other routes Sam - BBC Radio 2 has been saying that M74 is bad ... perhaps tomorrow it will have all gone!

Just looked at the current roads condition for M74 from Englandshire into Gods Country........ confused

HOWEVER
I'm currently about 1 mile from one of the junctions quoted as almost closed and there is NO snow on the road!!!!!!! :shock: In the sky :shock: or even threatening!! :shock: :shock:
Waiting on an update from a source further South on the M74 so will update you if I get it!

Ive been on hols and had a corrupt pc, tonight is the first chance i have been able to get to a pc... anyhoo sob story over sorta...

Weather damp but skies mostly clear.
Certainly no snow lying and was very mild through the night so hopefully the roads further South should be just about clear of everything except road works confused
