James,You sound desperate,I think you will find most of the nice people on here are not into "phone stuff" or "anyfin really",If there is a web site attatched to CEEBEEBIES,you might be better off on there,you could do "phone stuff" with Tinky Winky or a thought,
Another thought James,don't use phone text language on here,its not a phone and you are not limited to the amount of letters you can use,show you do have some knowledge of the English language and people just might take you a little more seriously,see,its not hard,NO abbreviations at all.
Why when a single guy posts a message other single guys jump on his back. We know there are some stupid posts put up but why feel compelled to offer up your deep wisdom. We like swinging because of the liberation to flaunt the norm and do things your contempories dont dare. Being free, being hedonistic and being liberated means that you dont want to abide by the advice and rules of others. If a guy wants to put up a bad post, just ignore it, dont add to it and if there is something in there that is against the site rules let the moderators deal with it. Just chill out and stop being so anal ( no pun intended)

Hi,D&B,I see and understand your point,the intention was not to jump on his back(excuse ther pun)but was to help the lad so he doesn't sound so desperate and therefore be more appealing to whoever he's trying to attract the attention of,rather than sound immature and not be taken seriously if you see my has the oppotunity now to read these comments,re-think his approach and not be rediculed in the future.I hope this does help him in some way,everybodies view point is useful because we all think differently which makes life more interesting.
Our point exactly iluvminis, what gives you the authority and whats more why should you care? If someone wants to make a tit of themself (in your eyes) let them, ignore them, leave them to it. He has hes way and you have your way why should your advice be better than what he is trying. At the moment in our eyes he is scoring more than you because he comes across innocent and you come across condescending. It is a case of basic ethics and Utilitarianism
I don't think that any of the people who have responded have been condesending. Theay are offering some sound advice, which is quite a common practise on here. James is displaying, in his first post, some of the things that are likely to put many users off, for example the use of text speak. If you read through other threads you will see just how much other peopl find it a bit offputting. There are many pages/thread which offer advice, some of them have been highlighted by forum users as particularly applicable to single guys. The people on this thread are so far being helpful and not abusive. If y#their comments irk you, D&B, you have only to follow your own advice and ignore them.
D&B and others Just a thought but isn't it also about providing the guy with some help to ensure he stays here in SH and makes full use of it? If someone comes here, places a post (such as the one that kicked this debate off) then they find that there's no reply or feedback, the likely chances are they will leave the site never to have found what they were looking for. Some even start a flouncing thread as they leave saying how crap this site is because they've not met anyone. Isn't it better then to attempt to impart some help and advice and keep the number of members using SH growing and not declining? Take a look at my first post, boy do I wish someone had taken the time to send me some help and advice then there would have been no need for the typical newbie "anyone out looking for a fuck" post that I made!! thankfully though I stuck around to meet some great folks here. Other guys though may not get any sort of reply at all and bugger off elsewhere. My advice to James, for what it's worth is, as already mentioned, have a look through the advice threads which are all designed to help folks get the most of SH, and start posting more and getting yourself known and who knows?? There certainly seems to be a hotbed of action in the NW so is unlikely to be missing out for long All the best mate. :thumbup:

Well to me it read like someone trying to take the Micky,far from helpful. Also if someone has only heard that a english lesson is fun, why give the advice. see i'm starting with the quips now and i dont like it. So i'll stop this now. End of conversation for me.
