Why oh why oh why? Whenever something like this comes up I'm not around. First I move from Telford only to find that everybody seems to be from there or Manchester. Now I live in Cambridge which being the Fens seems to be deader than a dead thing and you go and organise this on the weekend when I'm off to visit family back in Telford.

Well (assuming I fit into it) I will be wearing a black and gold basque with stockings and high heels.....and a short black PVC Skirt......and given that I'm six feet tall I should be fairly easy to spot....

A tip for all those coming tomorrow night.....
I have spoken to the Pub we're meeting at and they have specified that there are to be NO trainers, NO hats and NO tracksuits....so please come in Smart/Casual dress please.....we would hate you to be turned away and not be able to meet up with us.....

I'm sorry all but I can't make it tonight.
Roger knows I've been struggling with a painful back for months now which has completely knackered my partying. And oh was I ready for some fun! But I can't even contemplate sitting on the train for an hour and a half.
I feel bad because there aren't very many single girls around but I can't help it. Have a great time. I'm off to wallow in a large pool of self-pity. And it's raining.

Makes me feel better that the single guy wasn't going to hanging around anyway. Wouldn't have wanted to go all that way and miss out!
Also went out locally and saw a most amazing lady singer - Emiliana Torrini. Such beautiful songs. (She's done stuff on the Lord of the Rings films apparently.)
Yes - I have high hopes for an East Anglian get-together. I have always bottled out of organising one myself.

Just wanted to be first on to say a big Thanks to Roger and Helen for organising a great night out, and I had to sneak off very early, whilst the night was still young so who knows how greater it got!
