Would it possible for the Event organiser to have a note of who has been sent an invite and has yet to accept?
I know we can see the attendance list and but not invites. That way can prevent multiple invites being sent.
Just a thought .
By the way the event section is a brilliant way of organising, 10 out 10.

I'd half agree with you.... for public parties, such as socials and munches then yes......especially since socials can include members banned from this site.....
but for private parties then no.... that is no ones business but the organisors and the people going..
Suggestions like this are always welcome by Admin and anything that can improve the usability of the site will be seriously considered for future implementation.
The problem is that Admin don't get too much time to read the forums, so your best bet is to put your suggestion into a support ticket as well. By all means add a link to this thread into the ticket so they can see what other people think of the idea.

you misunderstood as part of the organisers tools for event organisation, i.e. can only be seen by the event organiser thereby no dupplication of invites, as we don't want to spam people's mailbox :-)
