Hi everyone and thanks for reading this message.
We are a couple new to this website and would like some advice from the more experienced contributers.
For the past couple of years now we have been discussing the possibility of broadening our sex lives and possibly involving a third or even a third and fourth party. Well we have kind of come to the decision that now is the time to act.
At some point in the next 2-3 months we are planning on booking a hotel room somewhere within our locality and enviting either a single male or stright couple to join us. The advice we need is what is the best way to go about this.
As it will be our first time we would like it to be a good experience and posting an advert straight on the site seems a good way of attracting some weirdos.
Ideally we would like to meet up with a guy or couple slightly older than ourselves , possibly around 35 as we are both 24. We think possibly the best plan would be to meet for a drink first and if the chemistry is right move into the bedroom.
So if anyone out there has advice on how best to make this happen and make it a memorable experience please get in touch.
Now a question on the munch.
Firstly excuse my stupidity but what exactly is a munch?
What sort of people (age, singles,couples etc) attend?
Also is it the sort of place a novice couple like ourselves would be welcome?
If so and we decide we would like to attend are there still places available and how would we put our names down.

Advice Needed and A Query About Scotland's Munch

To answer your points in turn, yes advertising can attract its share of oddballs, but there are a lot of genuine people out there too. It depends if you're willing to sift through and find them. My suggestion would be to join in here or in the Cafe and start to get to know people. There are some lovely guys and couples from Edinburgh.
You'll find a link to munches on the Forum Index Page under Lets Meet Up. Everyone is welcome - newbies, regulars, singles and couples. It's a purely social occasion and you'll have a great time. You will be very welcome.
As to the Edinburgh munch, this is being organised by the gorgeous BlueEyes, ably assisted by her faithful sidekick Blissed. If you send a PM to BlueEyes, she will add you to the list and let you know all the details nearer the time. (These details are kept confidential to avoid gatecrashers and idiots who call swingers perverts whilst perving at swingers.)

has given you some good pointers (although I have a sneaking suspicion she was trying to liken me to Muttley off Wacky Races there 
I'll have words with her on that when I've decided how I feel about it).
