sorry for not posting on here for a while, we've been really busy what with holidays, work, kids etc. but we're back and sorted now.
I've been asked to remind everyone that this is a munch being run to site rules regarding munches.
to all those that have posted and not yet had a reply, very sorry, but we'll be up dating the list and the forum over the next few days..

This event is now a social because it is not confirmed that all attendees will be Swinging Heaven members :thumbup:

Ok so excuse me for being a bit on the thick side but what the fuck is going on in the last three posts posted in within an hour We go from being told its a munch run as a munch to a social where the rules are different.
Not that it might make much difference to some to others it does! The idea that this is or would of been a swinging heaven members only event is important to some. So now its changed. What a piss off to those forking out loadsa Quids for a hotel to go to what was a munch with only members to now a social with whover knows who the fuckinhell is going and its even been removed from being a sticky. Why??

Have to admit that is a fair comment, at least with it being a munch we can see who is going and check profiles. From a single girls point of view it is also a safety net. (sometimes the right hook and stab with stillettos doesnt work)lol

My previous post sounds a lot angrier than i intended I sorry. I'm just annoyed that having forked out for a hotel with a non-refund policy (due to an offer) the event is now different to the one in which we were lead to believe over the last few months was going to take place. I still realise and apreciate the efforts.
Can either of the organisers please confirm on here that the event is restricted to bona fide Swinging Heaven members only?
This question is very important to us and I can imagine a lot of others to determine if we attend or not.
Can I also draw to the organisers attention the site rules regarding social events (not just munches) on this thread:

as this was supposed to be our first munch i/we are a little pissed off to say the least, having chosen to spend our anniversary with friends from this site at the munch and as all of us put our names down for an offical site munch..... it begs the question do the organisers really give a damn what we want as i assume from the previous comments that no one was consulted as to if we/they mind it being changed to all n sundry attending, so a clear answer to questions already put would be appreciated by us also

Sorry, but I am not impressed, this was going to be my first time at a Munch, and felt nervous enough knowing it was memebers only,,, but now as a single female, I am not sure whether I want to come along anymore, and I also have already booked a room.

ok, just got an update on this subject and i must say we totally agree with the last few posts, so i am having to say myself, that as this was our first munch, that we were looking forward to it so much, have arranged for inlaws to come up from cornwall for the weekend, so they can look after the kids, while sal and i come and meet some great people that we have chatted to in the room. being newbies to the munches we were happy that it had the security of being members only. However now that the organisers have decided to change it to a SOCIAL, and NOT really inform anyone. we are going to say.....
UNLESS IT RETURNS TO A MUNCH, THEN WE WILL NOT BE ATTENDING ALSO.

Have to concur with all recent replies, we being newbie’s to munches thought long and hard about attending and the fact that it was being run as a munch with people we have got to know over the months etc attending persuaded us that it would be fun to go. The situation seems to have changed drastically and clarification would be appreciated.
first let me make it quite plain. we did NOT! change the meet from a munch to a social, it was changed by sh.
secondly irrespective or whether its called a munch or a social, it will still be restricted to members of sh only, and only those who have added their names to the forum will be allowed. we have NOT!!!!!! invited non members, nor will they be allowed to attend.
a full list of those members who have put their names down to attend the munch/social will be posted on here by sunday evening,

i know its hard organising these things and it is appreciated the effort going into it, but i think clarification would have helped. but why did SH change the deal!!!! surely they cannot do this with out the organisers authority.
