Why can't they? You can go and read the terminology and what's permitted to be called a munch, if you're not clear. For it to be deemed an official SH munch, SH have to be sure that it's for SH members only. I think Dawnie said that it hadn't been clarified as to whether all those on the list were members. I would imagine that it's status will be restored to munch when the list has been checked. dunno

We are still happy to to come to this as a social but a posted invite list would probs be a bit of a comfort to some,just a suggestion?

Thanks for the clarification somersetcouple, hopefully SH Admin will see fit to revert the status back to Munch once you make available the list of attendees.

Whatever this event turns out to be i think Somerstcouple should be thanked for arranging it. Ihaven't seem many volunteers jumping out to say they will organise it.
Clearly a munch is better and i hope that the status as a munch will be re-instated.
Whichever it is, i intend to be there, and it will be my first one too.

Why would anyone want to jump in and organise it? There's already an organiser - it would be treading on their toes confused

I'm sure they'll be thanked - there's usually a thank you thread after any successful munch or social.

Ok poor choice of words. What i really meant is that there probably wouldn't be anything happening if somers hadn't volunteered to arrange it. I believe they did the last one to.

Thanks guys for that bit of info, we have thought about it, and have decided that if it is defiantly ONLY going to be SH members, then we still like to come, we so want to meet the many ppl that have pm'd us and asked to meet at the munch.
So heres hoping that it is all ironed out and fully clarified.

Everyone is welcome, and the usual official munch rules apply.
