At the risk of sounding a complete nerd could anyone explain to me what exactly a 'munch' is. I have read on the posts of a number taking place and I appreciate it requires a venue. The reason I ask is that I have access to a rather large licensed establishment and it just got me thinking.
I would hate to get the complete wrong end of the stick!!!!!

A munch is where people gather just to meet, socialise, have a few drinks etc, so that people get to know each other or meet the people they've been talking to online in a relaxed non-sexual environment.

If you do decide to organise a munch, make it a sticky post in the cafe so that everyone can see it and it doesn't get lost amongst the wealth of frivolity 
See no reason why not blissed, I am new to this room, so don't actually know anybody from here, so I suppose this would be a
great way of meeting some open minded adults without the pressure of feeling you need to go further.
Will gladly take advice fron experienced munchers as to times of the meet and what sort of entertainmentis required etc

That's mighty good of you NR! Steve G is currently doing an absolutely exemplary job of organising the NW munch, liaising with the landlord of the venue, giving suggestions for places to stay for those who need it, and keeping the details on Personal Mail rather than splashed all over the Forum - that way keeping close tabs on who/how many's coming is possible.
