I went to Kestrel Spa Monday and it was usually on my arrival it is now same venue, same amenities, these clubs are milking the single guy dry, wish there were some women there to do the same.

It's unfortunate for you that you chose to go on a Monday, their website clearly shows the admission prices, and it's more expensive on a Monday in the summer, for couples too.
'Single guys - £30 every day except for Mondays, Tuesdays (in the summer months only), and Wednesdays when the entry fee is £40'

I will agree with you about single guys being ripped off
IF
You will expand your complaint to include other cases where men and women are ripped off and not just by swinging clubs
Razor Blades ....... I can buy a mobile phone cheaper than half a dozen razor blades
Haircuts ........ It is a fraction of the cost for me to have my haircut in a unisex salon than it is for my female partner despite the fact that I have the longer hair.
Happy hour in nightclubs, women get half price drinks or free entry.
Cleaning products for around the home cost more than a meal yet produced in vast quantities in simple vats, very few of which actually doing what it says they can do (have you ever done the cillit bang test on a penny)
Some of the things we pay "over the top" for can be justified to an extent.
Swinging clubs, do charge more for single men than for couples or single females, you do subsidise thier entry fees, but if you didn't, clubs would have to raise the costs for couples and females, this would result in a drop in the numbers attending, do you really want to go to a club that is just full of single guys ?
One problem is that couples do tend to pay more to go to a club, they just don't pay it at the door.
Most (but not all) single guys go to thier nearest club.
Many couples travel long distances to visit clubs they prefer which incurs greater travel costs.
Most couples buy new outfits for the fems to go to a club.
Most single guyes (and the male half of couples don't)
Most single guys don't need babysitters
Many Couples do have to pay for babysitters
The alcohol price for a couple is doubled for a couple because there are two of them making the night more expensive.
Most couples have to buy condoms
Most guys don't
(any couple disagree with this you are treading a dangerous line, do you know how many men have a fantasy about getting a stranger pregnant ? we never trust someone else's condom and will only use our own when playing with couples or singles.
Now you might argue that some of the additional costs are self-inflicted, such as choosing clubs further afield, this is true, but you have to face reality and this does make a difference to the cost of a night at a club for a couple so increasing thier prices to match those of a single male will have an effect on the number of couples attending and therefore your chance of finding a couple to play with at a club.
The other problem for clubs is the amount of private parties being organised, clubs have large overheads, private parties do not and therefore can have free or cheap entry prices, private parties generally don't have fire systems to pay for, public liability insurance, business rates/tax etc (if they charge on the door they should but most dont)
Most private parties often will not allow single guys, if the clubs close because of lack of funds coming in there will soon be nowhere for you to go.
At the end of the day tell me your willing to pay the same price for your haircut as they charge women and the same price for clothes as women and I will respect you for wanting equality in club entry prices.

A couple of points it is logistically more expensive for couples to attend clubs then singles usually because they need a babysitter
there overheads for a night out are generally higher plus their windows of opportunity are smaller to attend and their disposable income tends to be lower
however all the clubs I attend couples are free and so are single ladies and any single male who would pay £40 pounds as an entry fee deserves being ripped off
you can get a really good one to one session with extremely attractive young girls for that.
So if you're intention of going to a club is sexual from a single males point of view this will price clubs out of the market.
I go to several clubs where a single males pay between fifteen and twenty pounds
I have never seen these places advertise as most of them do not need to
in a suppressed economic market putting the price up is not the answer
but for many with low attendance it is the only option.
And that's why so many have closed

Just look in the :: Clubs listing
http://www.swingingheaven.co.uk/clubs/?sortField=club_location&sortDirection=asc
as there are links to each club's own web site for their up to date charges and admission policy - remember some vary according to the night of the week and whilst some may charge on some nights (probably the weekends) they may be free on other nights.
On the original topic, in the main clubs try to appeal to all however many will find at times that there are often more single men in proportion to others wishing to attend. It's how they 'manage' this that varies.
For some it's purely on price, for others it might be price and limiting numbers, or other times it's limiting numbers on certain nights by 'pre-booking'. It's their club and they should know their customers, so their 'rules'.
These may be right or wrong, though if the latter and that part of their customer base then vote with their feet/wallet they might have to reconsider.

I agree with most of what Mids said. Going out for an evening at a club normally costs us no less than £100. Part of this cost is traveling as we avoid the local clubs and sorry to offend the op here but its becasue they never offer a Single male free evening. We do go to clubs/events with single males but we do so at a club we trust where we know the vetting is good. The local club allowed in just about anyone at one time and although its a nice club seeing people in their bus drivers uniform didnt appeal lol

I'll add my thoughts to this too.
as a single fem, I have to buy basque, £55
Stockings £7 which are invariably ripped off
knickers....well optional
high heels have selection but bought and paid for at some point
Hairdressers for night out, waxing, I'm on a roll now and of course condoms, because I too like to use my own.
I sometimes get in for free and sometimes pay a fiver,
but economically I am still paid less than any man I know doing the same job,
what ever the equal pay act says.
I no longer have to pay for babysitters (thankgod) but I did,
As for the clubs where men got in cheap. I just don't go there anymore because they are generally disrespectful.
So I now attend clubs where single men are charged a little more, and they appreciate being limited in number, so more likely to be respectful and therefore, have a play.
In life I've learnt you get what you pay for,
I could take you to cheap entry clubs if you like but single men outnumber women 10 to 1 and very rarely get a look in as women feel uncomfortable around the hoards of gropers.

If you think you're being ripped off, then the answer is simple. Don't go in the club! You have a choice.
It's a simple case of supply and demand here - if clubs charged the same for single guys as for couples, then every club would have about 40 guys for every couple. And that's not going to make for a fun night for anyone (except perhaps the couple - if she's VERY greedy! :-) )
In many ways guys have it easier than ladies in life. Swinging is one of the exceptions that proves the rule.
You could always start your own club....?

Hotel room booked.
New shirts and shoes on there way.
Xtasia's on Friday nite.
Should i drive or take the train. Decisions, decisions.
Should we pay more as single men. In my opinion of course we should.

Part of it is all about marketing but also wanting to keep a decent male/ female ratio and not a cock fest. I used to club promote and often big groups of guys would want to go into the venues we worked for. We had a strict door policy but also used to do evenings where women were free to get in and guys had to pay 20 quid. Part of it is economic but a lot of the time there were still more males then females there.
