Hi Sarge If you accept there is an increasing demand for Camming messages why don't you just add a fourth section within this area just for the cammers. Or do you want to drive them out to anothe site? Nicholas

Hmm mate you see that little word that says mod over by peoples avatar (ok not mine but look up and you will see some)... These are the people it not nice to wind up as they got enough on their respective plates... not nice to wind up anybody of course but with 2 posts to your name and second one flaming a site mod

Some of us would prefer that you did move to another site yes. There are a number of dedicated webcam sites out there so why don't you try one of them? This is a swinging site. If you were a regular user and posted along the lines of "Does anybody fancy a webcam session tonight?" then fine but joined today, total posts 1 and "On cam now, looking for a fem or couple" isn't what the site is about. I'd be more than happy if these people did go somewhere else. Steve
Good move doing this. As seeing random posts by someone who has 1 post under their belt asking for web cam fun is dull. Hopefully the same will be done for phone sex as well
I like using the site for caming-I don't see the harm myself it's just another part of the site and besides if you like someone from caming first you then can arrange to meet up! I think it would be good to keep a web cam site. You mention other web cam sites-being a novice though can you recommend some to me as I've had trouble finding any. I have to side with the No lobby on the subject of webcams on Swinging Heaven. I'm sure many couples and ladies will agree that there are already enough trophy hunters and timewasters out there without even more bombarding them with requests for "Show us yer Tits while I wank". Lets leave these to the sites dedicated for these folk. There are, I am sure, folk who would like to use webcam as a means of finding out about someone before arranging a meeting. So perhaps ads could carry some symbol to show a webcam is available to genuine replies?

Personally I have no interest in the whole 'web camming' thing however I acknowledge that others may do. I must add that I do not believe that all Web Cammer's are time wasters/trophy hunters per se. However I do feel that the endless stream of '1 Posters' seeking 'cam fun' does affect the site. I feel that if was no too technically taxing then another room specifically for camming should be added rather than just saying that there are specific site for that aspect of 'swinging life' - Cafe / Lets meet up / Dogging / Lets Cam I think that would work. Do the regulars ever cam through this site? if there were anothe rsection for camming would anyone ever go there? I would not and juding by this thread not many would, i would only cam if it was with the intention of meeting that person.... peace out...xxx

Just an observation from me (I know this is a subject that annoys a lot of people), because I see a lot of the senior figures from SH being negative about camming in this thread. I'm going to hold my hand up and say I'm in favour of camming. I think that most of the problems with camming getting in the way of chat, cluttering up the 'let's meet up' forum and so on are simply because there isn't a 'proper' place for it here. While I sympathise to some extent with those who don't want this site to include camming, please remember that many of us have the same sort of 'I find this idea slightly distasteful' feelings about some of the content of the "cd tv and fetish" ads section, or indeed the whole dogging section. I have no idea what the right way to deal with camming is (3 cheers for the mods for taking on this tough decision!), but I do think that once it has found it's place, it will be easy to avoid for the nay-sayers. I also wonder how much of the 'problem' with camming is due to the same surfiet of single males that every section here has? Do solutions to this need to be in place too before the problem will be fully resolved?
I think you've hit the nail on the head. The whole camming thing's usually a quick fix thing. People want to have a wank, so they sign up, post a few times, get nothing, disappear. My girlfriend and i enjoy camming, and we do it fairly regularly with a few people she's met on the net, through FP and a few other places. It's a first step towards actual swinging for us. It's the same for many people/couples. The problem is the idiots with one post posting incomprehensible (they're typing with one hand, mind) jibberish. Often just "wanking on cam now", with no mention of who they want to cam with, etc. I think there should be a trial section opened up, with very strict rules. You have to post whether you want someone NOW for a quick fix, or whether you actually want people to cam with, and get to know. You have to say what you use, MSN, Yahoo, etc. You have to say who/what you are, and who/what you want. Ages, sex, etc. I'm sure you'll all be able to come up with more ideas, but it really WILL have to be monitored strictly, to stop the one-post wonders that've been plagueing the place of late. I'd offer to mod it, but i'm a bit new here, although i've got years of modding experience. I'm probably a bit of a hard-ass as well. The mods here are pretty laid back.
Can I just add that the 'senior figures' (I assume you mean the Mods and the Mighty Black Dalek) are not negative about camming. We ARE negative about the effect of the multitude of the single line ads asking for it and we ARE fed up with the many complaints we get about. Hence the attempt to keep it all in one place. Now I call that positive action. :P
