Brighton Beware - Mal's on his way..............!!!!!

Hi guys
Just to let you know I am coming down to Brighton on Wednesday and looking to hook up for a beer, meal or whatever :twisted: on Wednesday night. Anyone want to show me around?
Also need to know the names of any decent hotel down there.

Jags - Newcastle was an accident. I didn't know it would cause the Metro Centre to be evacuated or the floating Nightclub to lose it's moorings :rascal:
I just need someone to hook up with for a :cheers: and show me round, preferably with a :small-print: of accommodation and make me feel :welcome:! Not too much to ask is it? After all, we always make the Southerners welcome at the NW Munch, don't we? kiss

I am busy on Wed, would have been good to meet a mod !! (creep aint I ?)
I may be able to suggest a few places to stay tho, so if you not already sorted, let me know what sort of hotel you looking for, you got the choice from humble b&b right up to 5 star, and of course all the little back street places Brighton is famed for !

Thanks for the offer Paul, but you may be disappointed - us Mods are only human beans like everyone else!! :shock:
Accommodation wise, anything above B&B but below 5 star and near the town centre would be good. If you can't make it, can you recommend somewhere for a beer and a bite?

Big thanks to BrightonGoblin for sorting me out a list of hotels. Thanks very much, it was very decent of you and I definitely owe you a beer for that :cheers:
I'm still looking to meet up with anyone who would like to share the evening with me. I spill my beer, I eat with my mouth open, I swear loads and fart a lot, other than that, I'm good company, allegedly !! Come on, you Seagulls, show me how much the place has changed since I was last there, many moons ago!!

Shit ! Someone burnt down the pier!! Must have been one hell of a barbecue lol

Well, my trip to sunny Brighton wasn't totally uneventful. Although I wasn't killed in the rush by the SH members local to Brighton, I was able to utilise PLAN B ! This entailed contacting another SH member who lived in another Southern town beginning with B and being invited to break my journey with him and his partner. Unfortunately, whilst there, it seemed his partner was very prone to breathing difficulties and was left gasping for air a lot. I did my best to assist, but was sworn at several times, as well as her turning religious as she called out for God!!
However, I was able to assist with my makeshift inhaler. This seemed to help control her breathing - unfortunately, it didn't help mine!!
Eventually, all breathing patterns returned to normal and I was able to continue my journey, suitably refreshed. Hopefully, if I am in that part of the country again, I will be able to check that her health has returned to normal :lol:
Just one itsy bitsy little problem whilst in Brighton - getting a text at midnight to see if I was having fun! That's akin to someone waking you up to see if you were asleep!!!! :shock:
Nice midweek break though. I would recommend it to anyone :lol: !

Glad you had an alround enjoyable time, I am sure there are many in Brighton who would have taken up your offer, but if you do find them, let me know !
Sounds like plan B should have been promoted to plan A ! As for the pier, yes, twice someone thought it would look nice in an orange glow, and mother nature had a part to play as well.
Maybe if you down thid way again, we can meet up, but I only just started a new job, so am getting home quite late at the moment.
Anyways, pleased to hear you had a good time.
