Camping Holiday/Surivial Weekend

Whos an outdoorsie type... that likes treking off into the hills. I'm thinking about organising a trip, tents... sleeping bags and no one around for miles in any direction.
Experienced walker, fit (ish) and has NEVER got lost, no .. really! I've completed
Lands end to John o groats... inc:-
*Offas
*Cumbrian Way
*Westhighland Way
*Loch Ness
(Amongst other routes)
Remote Camped
*Foothills of Scafell Pike (not the touristy side) - as part of 3 day remote camping in cumbria with mate
*Mountains near Snowdon
*Island in the middle of Ullswater (shhhhh) (we canoed out to it)
etc etc
Open to anyone and everyone, this is for the walking and outdoors rather than the swinging bit (although what you do in the ... "privacy" (ha) of your tent is up to you

Fantastic... had a few people get in touch with me so far for this via PM... collecting list of people at the moment...seeing who fancies what
but .. like you to read a reply i wrote to one person regarding this.... expedition
Who thinks with should plan a SwingingHeaven logo on top of Scafell Pike????? :-)

This aint really about the swinging.. and more about the walking!!!! i mean what a more perfect situation could you have of getting to know people on a .. what.. 6 hour walk before camping.. much better than a 30 minute .. adrenaline fueled drink in a pub before getting in seperate cars to go back to someones house for play time... with this i fancy sing songs (well.... much as i'd love karoke)...
reason for posting here... is .. site is full of people..from 18 to 80 .. and generally fit..
Obviously dont want to run it in the middle of winter and scare people off.. just seeing who fancies it at the mo... but will be in touch.. if you have any good routes.... fire away

No, seriously give me a shout when you are more upto date with plans and i might like to take you up on this offer!!
Sadly rach will not be accompanying us, she feels that walking, as well as public transport is for degenerates and as such has me ferrying her around like a demented chauffer.
PS am good with a compass as after many years in HM Forces i usually needed it to get my recruits out of the shit they normally found themselves in!!

I've yet to meet an experienced walker who's NEVER got lost!!!!!!

Hi HB. Good on ya mate..having just spent my second weekend since new year in a tent..I guess I at least qualify as being somewhat deranged !! ...brings a whole new slant on waking up in the morning at 3am frozen stiff (literally!)..I,m one of these strange dudes that goes off on bike rallies with like minded loonies, and spends the night listening to bands in a beer tent, then crawls into a freezing tent..all in the pursuit of......i,m not sure really !..but HEY !! its better than spending all night in a pub ! Keep me posted, and i,d be up for it..like you, have a good sense of humour..i,ll even do it in my kilt !!
