Hi Catherine, welcome to the site.
You may find that if you join in with the chat and let people get to know you a little better then you just might get the results you are looking for. People seem to report different levels of success with using the photo adds and as we dont use them, I am not really able to comment, but I can say that the forms are successful, so long as you are willing to take the time and get to know people.
I am sure that if you join in with the banter (try the cafe) and be a little patient, you will definately have fun. Nice friendly bunch and dont normally bite (unless asked)
