Went over the chase last night and for the first time in a long while there was absolutely noone there! Stayed at the chase for a bit then went over to Chillington. We can't do days, as we work usually 11am til 11pm every day 
dirtyteencpl are right alan, the chase for the past month or two has been quiet to dead, even ansons has been quiet on a fri/sat night with just the odd 1 or 2 doggers sat there, but mainly empty. I think the scene around staffordshire has frozen up for the winter so to speak, probably not helped by the press intrusion too ! Here's to the summer !!

Well we've been a lot over the past few months, at different times, everything from 7pm to 2am (last night) Sometimes you can go one night and every car park will be empty, other nights there can be 5 cars parked in whatever car park. We haven't been going so much lately because about a month ago we were over ansons.. erm.. getting it on? and you know how big ansons is? the car pulled up directly alongside us. I wouldn't have minded but on an empty car park that size and the car pulls right up to you without an invitation, it's kinda annoying. We wouldn't have minded if he? she? them? had parked the other side of the car park, if we were in the mood for showing we may have invited them over, Ems is into the idea but the fact that people get that close without an invitation obviously poses questions about what may happen in the future.

the only thing you can guarantee on the chase especially around about midnight, is the sudden influx of boy racers, they've even taken to driving along the rangers tracks too now ! was up ansons saturday before last, and a whole procession descended upon the car park from the rangers track that's usually blocked off. No trouble, they just drove around and around the carpark a couple of times before driving off 
The car that pulled up alongside you wasn't a silver mondeo by anychance ? as that bloke's down exactly the same thing to me.

The car was so steamed up all I could see was the headlights lol!
But they looked like focus headlights, not mondeo, but yes it was silver.
I forget what night it was now.. A few thursdays ago we went at about 1am and accidentally found a rangers track, it was quite scary actually because we weren't sure if the car would make it.
If you turn left at Shooting Butts road? then carry on down there til theres a left turning with a row of houses, we carried on past the houses and the raod turned to.. Well.. Dirt.. So we turned left at another kind of junction and it eventually brought us out on Penkridge bank road again. Was fun and I doubt many people drive over THAT road late at night ;)

I suppose taking one of the tracks is one way of total privacy ! just got to pray they don't block off the track while you're down there lol !!
If it's the focus i'm thinking of, he's more interested in you than em mate !! Got talking to one of the regulars about a month or so ago, this bloke's quite known for it, he'll either pull up right alongside straight away, or park opposite and then pull up. Just so long as he didn't put you off

It'd take more than that to put me off :twisted: It did kinda put Em off a bit but after last night, all is well again 8)
That's a problem with Ansons though, only one way out. It also takes a long time to get down that drive because of the potholes.
A lot of the time I'd rather just talk to some of the doggers about their experiences etc, but doggers ain't there to talk
