Just reading the thread, I think £10 is well worth it, perhaps people coud try it out, you never know you just might enjoy it I take my hat off to the original posters for trying it themselves, good on you :)
Ok, thanks to everyone who has responded, if you've said you'd like to come then your name is down. If you need a hotel list we will put one together for you, just email me to let me know and i will send you one. Thanks for all the support guys Ann & Rich Welsh_Wizards
I go to events held by a member of an exercise group. These events take place in his own house. His wife and he scource all of the food and cook it there. Wine is included admittedly for those lucky enough not to be driving but we still pay £10 each, with profits going to a Government funded school in India. Profits from two events come to somewhere around the £100 mark (from about 25 people attending two events) If this is an "upmarket" buffet as I think you have said in an earlier post, then I think it`s good value. I see you intend this social not be the "norm" as far as socials go. This must be taken into mind before critising what this couple are trying to do.

Hi, I was wondering if you have had any luck with the location yet? Also can I have a copy of the hotel list as I live up the Rhondda and it is almost as cheap to get a room as it is to get a taxi home, cheers John
hi this is the first time on thee forum i hope im doing it right. we would like to attend .£10 is cheap to us for what you are offering whats all the fuss about look forward to to your reply bye for now jacky
I have not posted here for ages. I'd just like to point out that £10 pp is less than the cost of 2 packets of fags or 1/6th of a tank of petrol. Over priced? H
What's the latest on this? I'm doing a fundraising coffee morning that day in the city centre but I'm off in the evening. I'm sure the Mechanic will need someone to hold his hand for the evening :giggle:
