We're thinking of starting a munch for people living around Cheshire/Wirral/Merseyside. We believe there used to be one but it doesnt happen anymore. Lots of people go to the twice yearly Wigan Munches. There are regular local Munches in the BDSM sense of the word and for the BDSM community but in the SH-sense of the word, i.e. a social type event for members of this site, then no, Wigan is the closest we have. The best thing to do would be to find a venue and set a date and then people will be able to give you a definite idea of whether they will be able to come or not. There is a stickied thread at the top of this forum about Munch organisation and another one currently running in the Cafe. Good luck and, if the date is right, then I'll get my name down! :thumbup:
Yeah, I've been reading the guidelines and am going to start looking around for a venue this week, thought I'd just see if anyone would be interested first before setting dates, etc and getting it stickied xx

Somewhere near Cheshire Oaks cos its a bit more central for Cheshire, Wirral, Merseyside and North Wales and close to motorways. Think I've found a venue which will hold 120. (I cant say where until attendees are confirmed). About a date, was thinking September so that everyone's had their holidays ... prob 25th as there is a munch in Bristol earlier in the month and some people travel for them ... dont want everyone to be all munched out!!! There will be a small cost involved per head to cover costs but I should have that all worked out by the time I can confirm everything and do a proper invite thread.

Is there any chance of having mid-week events? some of us just can't make weekends and have to search the country for the odd Thursday get-together. What do you think? S x
Great idea Fun. I go to the Wigan munch twice a year and thay are brilliant... thanks to all naughty wigan couples efforts, she puts so much effort into them...the munches that is lol. good luck n see ya in the rooms. NWC if you read this dont forget to add me to the next wigan munch cos ya know how crap I am at remembering to look in the forum lol xx

Mid week events would be hard for lots of people as lots have kids and work in the morning. I know that we couldnt do mid week. Why not try to organise something??
yep - we'd be interested but the 25th Sept - we'll be roasting by the pool in Turkey then!!! however we wish you all the best n keep us posted cos if the volcano goes again we'll be looking for summat to do

I was thee person that used to arrange the mentioned Munches. Don't know why they weren't a success... ohh in fact I've got a few reasons but the main one being me. When I was Wunderhorse, I was quite full-on as a person both on this site & in life. Either you liked me or not & I didn't really care. I think I divided people on this site hence me leaving & then re-joining as Naughtypharaoh. I've changed my life due to being made aware around the Mayan Calendar & 2012. In short, Life is going to change rapidly for ALL of us in these next two years. So, am now cool & less full-on hence the re-birth as Naughtypharaoh. I will help you with anything ye need to make a return to the Munches. Big Up yeself, brap braaaaaaaaap.
