Friday Update!!!
I have now been able to secure a reserved seating area at a bar in Bristol to cater for the numbers who have asked for places already. Anyone who was on the reserve list will now be moved to the full list. However i won't be taking anymore names for the Friday unless people fail to confirm their places (This will only happen in the week leading up to the event). I hope this will now clear up any confusion and allow those that were in limbo to make solid arrangements.
Venue booked for a Bristol get together Saturday 13th February.
Not strictly a social, but by no means a private party. Simply a chance to let your hair down, catch up with old friends and make a few new ones along the way. Whilst anyone is welcome to put their name down, it should be pointed out that the venue is NOT a venue for playing, so single guys particularly please bear this in mind before rushing to sign up in the hope of getting some action! The number of single guys will be strictly monitored so as not to over subscribe.
We have hired the entire venue for the evening on the Saturday, and only those who have confirmed their place before hand will be admitted ? NO EXCEPTIONS!
There is no charge for this event, although a voluntary whip round will be held at the end of the night to cover the cost of the venue and Dj. Receipts will be available for anyone wishing to see them.
As those of you who came along last year will know, due to the distance that a lot of us have to travel to this event, we like to make a weekend of it. The main get together is on the Saturday night, but as in the past, a group of us will meet up on the Friday too for a natter over a drink or two or three, and maybe a bite to eat, but please bear in mind that this is simply out and about in town, not at a private venue unlike the Saturday, so will be mingling with the public. Please specify when putting your name down, which evening/evenings you will be there.
