Coventry Social 10th JULY CANCELLED

CANCELLED !! As most hotels are full in Coventry for 10th July and 30 + stay in hotels at every social it is not fare on them and everyone else to carry on with this social. I have tried to find another venue for 17th July but nothing suitable is available in Coventry.
As soon as a new venue is found, I will post a new thread for all to add their names. If anyone knows of any venues for a social within the midlands area, let me know by mail. The date I’m looking at is 17th July. As most people travel to Coventry, the location is not important

The hotel has only got twin rooms already at £53 grrrrr!!!! No doubles left....premier inn is fully booked aswel, think something must be happening that w/e! sad

The 17th is already booked, will see what happens over the next week and maybe cancel this social and do one at another venue on 17th. If anyone knows of a suitable venue that is available then let me know, it doesn’t have to be in Coventry

Its a bit pants if no one can stay over, if theyre down to twin rooms in one hotel and none in the other, dont think we stand much of a chance getting all of us in!! sad

Try n get somewhere with lots of hotels around, if you like will ask Chris about the 2 i told you about, they are both in Notts town centre, tonnes of hotels near both of them!

not sure the shortage of hotel rooms has any connection to the fact its the same weekend as the F1 at Silverstone... and kinda guessing most of the Hotels in a 50 mile radius of there will be fully booked.

Well there is nothing on at nec or at richo arena so it could be silverstone. Still hoping someone will come up with a venue even if it means changing the date to 17th July or another town.
