I am putting together another official Swinging Heaven Munch for all who are interested.
The date will be Saturday 21st July. The location and details will be sent by email at a later date can u plz let me know if u would like food on or not has if ppl want food it will b pr head
All people interested in attending have got to register their interest in forums.
There will be a cut off date, which will be announced nearer the time.
The location will be in the Doncaster Area, which i have found in the past central to all areas .
The Munch is open to all REGULAR members of the forum and the chat room, who have joined the forums or chat room on or before 1st February 2007 (which will give some of the newer members the chance to get know on here prior to meeting some people in a social environment). However, should places still be available nearer to the time, I will open this up to others who joined the site after this date so long as another regular on here will be able to vouch for them as being genuine or they have become regular posters/chatters in their own right.
There will also be a reserve list and nearer the time, if any places become available then the reserve list will be offered a place.
For anyone who has not attended a munch before, and for some of the ‘regulars’ who may have forgot the definition of a munch, the following link will be of help - http://www.swingingheaven.co.uk/terminology/munch.html
If anyone has any questions, or are unsure if they want to go to a Munch, then just drop me a whisper or mail and I will try to answer any questions you have. You will always find me in the yorkshire fun and chat room.
A list of local hotels will be available so people can book early and I will include details of local taxi companies.
If anyone guesses the location or the name of the venue and it gets out into the public domain, this munch will be cancelled to ensure discretion for all members.

can you just clarify if this is a munch or a social? It says munch/social in the heading but munch in the thread.
I apologize if I have read this wrong - it is Sunday & I'm still slightly hungover redface

I agree; it needs clarifying, but presumably must be more munch-ish as it's been stickied?
Can we be added please, whatever it is lol

In edit: just realised this clashes with something else, so we can't come anyway.

Having food or not, isn't the difference between a social and a munch though.

That isn't the difference.
A munch has more strict guidelines regarding who can attend and keeping attendees separate from Joe Public. There's a sticky on socials in this forum, with more details.

what is the difference between a munch and a social....
if i was being Really flippant in the mood i am in at the mo after reading other threads...and having orgaised them, I would say a lot more organising and a lot less hassle....
just for the normally scale of a munch I usually advise people not to walk before they can run, and try a social first to iron out any glitches
but if you need any advice or helping hands, then people are on the site to help kiss

don't want to go on but is it a munch where it will be in a private room or a social somewhere with vanillas in the same room?
Just want to clarify before we decide whether to put our names down or not.
