Just come back from our weekend in Amsterdam, some thoughts about the trip in October.
Looks like the best flight time for us Geordies is 7pm on Friday night. That means we would hit Amsterdam and be drinking about 10pm -10-30pm. The bars are open till about 3am so thats fine.
Perhaps the actual main group meet / munch should be arranged for Sat lunch time / afternoon. If so, we need to find a bar that will hold the number of bodies who are going. Which is??? Say 30????
We can make enquires about this, but we went into one on Rembrantplein, one of the main areas, which looked about right. It was called "The Bell". So first question; can anyone suggest another, better meeting venue?
How about around teatime everyone went to a strip/lapdancing club, again near Rembrantplein called "The Blue Bell". NOT the same pub as mentioned earlier!!!
That would mean that the couples and singles would not be splitting up very early. We did not go into The Blue Bell so can't voach for it, but looked like fun from the outside!!
We have deceided to go to "fatamorgen" (spelling) on the Sat night. The reason for this being that we were at fun4two last Sunday and it was not as good as the first time we went. Still a brilliant place, but it was Mothers Day in Holland so it was not as busy as normal. So, we want to try Fata next time. Now fata does not let in single men, so at this point the couples who want to go to Fata will be saying goodbye to the singles.
As Fata does not shut till 4am, we will be having a long lie in and then going for an afternoon flight home. Because it is a bit of a hike to Gouda for fun4two we have PROBABLY deceided not to go on the Sunday unless there are a load of couples who definatly are going!!
Any thoughts or comments on the above????

Botel will only accept 3 day bookings for weekends. So if you go to fun4two what about the hotel, stay in Gouda or get a taxi back to the Botel? The hotels we saw were either reasonable price and smallish or expensive and large.
Think our budget for hotels would be about £80/85 per night. That would get a decent, but not brilliant hotel in the City Centre. So that would be Fri and Sat night. If going to fun4two you would also need a hotel in Gouda at about £60 or somehow get back to Amsterdam. Which would be about £80 in taxi.
Any thoughts??

Hi everyone,I have been to Amsterdam 6 times,stayed at Botel 5 times and Bulldog Hotel once,never been to Fun4,but have been to Paradise 6 times and found it brilliant,sat night is couples only but all food and drinks included in price and a great horny night each time,Paradise actually in Amsterdam North 6,fun4 a lot further out,in Haarlem I think,way out of Amsterdam,just for info,john
We are both booked into a really nice hotel, we have decided to book ourselves into the Hotel De Roode Leeuw this is a really nice 5 star hotel in the City Centre on the river opposite the main tram/train station, so nice and easy to get to the red light area!!, it is 465 euros for 2 nights for a luxury double room. So flights booked and hotel booked, we are both really looking forward to meeting up and hopefully all going together to a nice club well into the nights for Fri and Sat....we are also celebrating our 10 years of a beautiful marraige and many more centuries to come..xxxxxxxxx
