How much would you pay to attend a party at a quality, top notch venue?

Continuing on from my previous thread, let's try a different approach.
How much would you be prepared to pay to attend a party at a large, posh venue?
As my previous post, there could be the possiblity of a few free drinks and a bit of food.
Let's not forget that this would be in a quality venue (costing at least £1000 and quite possibly a lot more to rent) and any fee would be purely to cover costs of renting the venue, drinks and food.
Thanks
Its nothing to do with money, its more to do with the people that are there.
£50 isn't goung go buy me a nice time now is it rolleyes

let me point you in the direction of two different socials....

and this one.....

So the people in scotland have done a fantastic job and gotten a stately home.... for 10 pound a head...
now onto a reserve list
and the wigan munches which I personally believe are some of the best events on the SH calander doesn't charge at all....
those always have a reserve list
I think what you also need to be aware of is that you are talking about a big charge (most clubs I know dont charge anywhere near what you were looking at in the other post).... plus people may need to travel which incurs costs.... plus people may need to pay for hotel accomadation meaning it all adds up.....
you do have to make that consideration, especially in these times at the moment.....
can I possibly make a suggestion first.... go to one of the big socials, munches that are around the country first, then see how those are run, and then have a look at how to possibly organise yours....
I really hope that is does go well
