Sorry to have to drop out, I hope you find a good filler for my space and this is enough notice. Sure you will have a great time, look forward to meeting you all at a future event.

anyone else travelling down from Scotland to the munch?
Or can anyone advice of nearest airport to where the munch is being held?
thanks -Lucy xxx
Hiya lucyweebaps,
The nearest airport is Stansted. From Glasgow you can fly via Ryan Air for about £50 return. Follow this link for the website:

Or fly EasyJet for about £55:

And from Edinburgh you can fly EasyJet - via the same link above, for about £70.
The sooner you book - the cheaper it stays...
Cya there!

Thx Wench I'll have a look hon smile Is it just a taxi ride away from the airport? roughly or would I need to get a train as well?
Lucy xxx
Actually I think that Luton Airport would be nearer than Stansted.......because from Stansted you'd need to catch a train to Liverpool Street and then up on the Essex Line.....but from Luton Airport it might be closer......who knows..... dunno
Thanks for including me on the list I will let Red know and yes it should put a smile on her face too.
With regard to the nearest airport surely Stanstead is the nearest, for me it is certainly nearer than Luton. Of course there is always City Airport in Docklands I don't know if there are any flights from Scotland to there though. Regular and fast trains from Stanstead into Liverpool St. station Lucy then I would imagine you would get a train from Liverpool St. to the venue then a taxi. Seems like a bit of a nightmare journey if you ask me though, surely there are Scottish Munches too?? Anyway I look forward to seeing you both and of course everyone else....lol
Regards
Martin
x for Denise and x for Lucy redface
Hi again... Well I am amazed being a newbie on here I see that in fact there is a Scottish munch and several of you guys are travelling all over the UK to go to these too. This will be an eyeopener for me. I agree with you Denise if you were all like me well at least in my comment  I made we would be stuck in our boroughs. I know a couple in Glasgow maybe I should mention it to them and incorporate a visit with them and a Munch with Haggis?....lol rotflmao

Hi , I was wondering if there's gonna be any music at the munch...I mean, should I wear my dancing shoes, spangly leggings and boob tube rolleyes ballgown  bellydancing bikini  or should I just wear a wooly hat and baggy trousers and spin my suff on the floor
Please let me know so I can iron my Disco Dancer of the Year sash...
Many thanks. wink
Hiya denise, is it too late to put our names down for the munch, as weve discovered were free next weekend.

biggrin :D :D :D :D :D :D :D
Life's a beach, but watch out for the weavers.
Hiya looking forward to itsmile
The nearest Aiport is most definitively Stansted - door to door it should take about 30 mins to the venue, but the taxi would cost you a bomb no doubt. Your best bet would be to get someone to pick you up - seems Denisebabe is offering so I would grab that!
The only other viable option as far as I would be concerned would be renting a car from the airport - but that's gonna add some serious money to your trip...
Luton is most definitively further away, at least another 30 mins on top and many more miles... Plus a nasty journey down the M1 and round the M25 - not a good idea if you ask me!
And I should know - the venue is one of my locals biggrin
