Hello all
Firstly thanks to the Godmother for inviting me down to this fabulous evening.
I was the first to arrive :shock: :shock: and was wandering around worrying I was in the wrong venue.
Folk then started arriving, was great to see you all again as we sat around chatting (I even got to chat about a Pub I'm desperate to goto) and chilling, watching Tatty working magic to get the DVD working
I then started whinging in normal pathetic Harry mode that the jacuzzi was too hot :lol:
I must apologise for deserting you all for part of the evening but I don't get to that sort of place more than 3 or 4 times a year (black hole up here
) and wanted to relax in the jacuzzi and chance my luck (It worked for once - bloody amazing pmsl)
Huge thanks to the fellow attendee who made it more than worth the 148 mile round trip with a very special moment I shall treasure forever
Thanks also to Tatty for chatting at the bar until I left at about 3am :shock: and making sure all the other people there were going to look after me.
I got very lost three times on way back to M11 having to utilise my Essex Street Atlas to get me out of trouble but adding 2.6 miles onto the journey home :(
I still have no idea how I managed to get home safely, I had been awake for nearly 24 hours by this stage, and apart from waking up in Stansted Services at 5am (I must have slept for an hour there :shock: ) recall little about the journey home other than getting home and thinking oh hell, my CD alarm was still set at 0508 from the morning before and getting home and to bed at 0600 was worried the neighbours would have had The Wombles blasting out at full volume for nearly an hour fortunately it didnt read the CD so hadn't played phew :lol:
I'm still too shattered to try and remember everyone who was there but thanks to you all and see you soon.

Essexlady thank you for a really fab evening. As normal company was brilliant. the spa is a brillaint place to relax, laugh, have a good time, and catch up on gossip with friends.

More is coming back to me now.
I remember being in the jacuzzi not sure where to stand/sit and being told to lay back on some very comfy cushions. My ears were under the water so I could hear absolutely nothing being said around me and I was a bit concerned when the water started lapping over my face but was so relaxed and happy I didn't care (I trust none of you were pushing me under )
