H there,
We are looking to attend Eurekas as it is just down the road from us (well, a 20 min drive :-)) but we're a little confused. On the website it mentions nothing about it being a swing club, just a naturalist venue. However on the clubs page here it mentions the swinging angle.
We're wondering if folks have a clear idea of just what goes on and whats acceptable? Is it a swing club, a naturalist venue or some strange hybrid?
It would be great for example if we could use the woods for some outdoor fun during the day etc - how careful do you need to be etc?
Thanks,
Andrew & Shani x

When I last went there - admittedly a few years ago - it was a straight naturist club - except for Friday and Saturday evenings (when children were not allowed) ... you can imagine the rest! (And no, we never went there on a Fri or Sat evening :-( )

Although I've already dropped Shani a PM since they posted this I just wanted to say...... blimey david, it really must have been a good few years since you last went. Lots has changed since then including the fact that children have not been allowed there for at least the five years since I started going and probably much longer than that.

Desi and I have been there a few times over the last couple of weeks (we're 30 minutes away). It is mainly a naturist venue. As far as the swinging side of things is concerned, they have parties on Wednesday, Friday and Saturday evenings. There is a couples only room, a few lockable private rooms and the cabins for overnight stays.
The woods are there and there can be play in there. It can be a bit 'hit or miss' and to be honest, a lot of the play in the woods is m/m. You can see f/m play (if you're lucky!) but the majority of stuff seems to be blokes. You will find plenty of guys wondering about the woods looking for stuff that may be going on. I've found that they are polite and won't push themselves on anybody who's playing and will wait to be invited to join in. Having said that, they can be a bit 'full on' and get as close as possible to anybody who's playing. A firm "no" will usually suffice.
That's what I've found over the last 2 or 3 weeks, anyway.

We love Eureka's. We have been there a few times this past couple of weeks in the daytime. Great to chill out by the pool and top up the tan smile
There is some play in the daytime as said before and as Zilt said there are a lot of single guys there who 'lurk' in the woods but we have always found them very respectful and a no thank you is all that is needed to send them away or to put them at a comfortable distance.
The party nights are fab and the new owners are making fantastic changes to the club. It looks amazing, the rooms are being revamped and there are still more changes to come.
It has a great friendly atmosphere and the staff are great. We have been members for a few years and it is definitely money well spent in our eyes. We can't wait to get there tomorrow for a whole time of R&R ;)

Hi we went there a couple of weeks ago on a very hot Sunday. We found the place ok with a nice pool to cool off in. There were a few couples playing especially late in the afternoon and there was a little activity in the pool. To be honest we did not feel comfortable playing ourselves as at the slightest hint of any action the couples were surrounded by 20 or so males. We would go back for the naturist element and the pool but can not imagine a scenario where we would play there unless it was a couples only time.
