Festive Social? SUN 27th Dec OR New years eve???

Hi. Myself and Easycome2003 are trying to decide wether to host a social for Christmas on Sunday 27th Dec... Or maybe New Years Eve 31st Dec? You decide.
I have secured a pub in loughborough, Leicestershire, who are willing to let us have sole use on either of these nights... We just need to decide which will be more popular to yourselves so as to book it.
Please could you post which you'd prefere more or & if you would definately like to attend.
When we go ahead there will be a small buffet, Disco and maybe some karaoke fun depending on demand.
There will be a small charge of no more than Â£3 to cover costs... Even for new years eve!! The pub is near the town centre so just a short walk to some B&B's etc should they be required.
This is being run as part of the Derby social as Mr n Mrs Cockslut are sadly unable to host one this year.
Please let us know what you think asap to make a definate booking .

Yea.. Sorry Kaz/Allen, I really wanted to do it on the sat 19th but have another commitment then & dont really wanna go to far back to be close to other do's.
I also considered Sunday evening the 27th as most people shud be off next day for boxing day(in lue of)
Just really playing with ideas at mo... Even if people said they'd prefere no more till maybe feb (valentines) It'd be input, then we could just arrange for then instead.

will the owners/managers of the pub know the people going are swingers ?
we might be interested in coming to the social depending on when it is and what we are doing but because its close to home we need to know more about the venue smile

No the Landlady etc will not be informed. I have just asked for a Xmas do and as this is a social gathering & NOT a play party, there is no need to inform them

Minxie Allen didnt know I had posted this think people wrongly assume its always Allen on here when it was actually me but I always sign it is both of us, I think also it has to be taken into accounta lot of people will need to get babysitters etc and as such will probably only go out either one date or the other

put us on the list provisionally then pls, however it will depend on the date, needing to arrange childcare and not clashing with other stuff we are doing
plus it will also depend on where its held cus we live in loughborough and wouldnt go to some places !! smile

Hi Kaz x Yea I bet they do.. but I didn't know so I put 'Kaz/Allen' lol to be safe haha.
Thanx for your feedback but I actually doubt this will go ahead anyway now as there doesn't seem alot of interest at this time.. We might just wait till Valentines Day :smitten: hehe
