:banghead: I know you're new mate, but try posting a little while first in the Cafe, or the Chatroom and get to know people first. If you just want to meet up, then try posting more than one line. Saying something about yourself, what you look like, where you're from, what you're after and what you're looking for.
Just think of it as if you were on a night out. Would you get further if you chatted some girl up, talked to her for a while, flirted and made her laugh... or asked her "Fancy a shag?".
Good luck on here and remember to stand out from the crowd by taking some of my advice and the advice of others.

Hi again everyone well loads of advice for a newbie here, thanks to all of you . Sorry if it was short and sweet but i really didnt know what to write or how to word it . ( im in Cheshire btw) , all advice is gratefully recieved ( even criticisisam as long as its constructive) . Well lm 38 and looking for no strings fun im 6ft 2 got all my own teeth and hair . if u need to know anything else then just ask . hope to meet some of you soon cheers.

With ref. to bigDewi69s earlier posting I agree with him that most of us would be much more inclined to "chat up a lady" 
However I am reminded of one friend from a few years back who, literally, used to go up to loads of girls in the pub/club and say "Fancy a shag!" He worked on the theory if you asked enough times someone would say yes. It seemed to work for him as I can't remember many nights when he went home alone.

Judy, I'm only trying to be helpful, not newbie bashing. As a newbie I thought I'd give some useful tips that I've picked up on the best way to get a meet, even just if you're posting in the LMU section.

Doubtless you mean well Dewi, but you've been in here all too short a time to set yourself up as an authority on how to use this site. I think you need to read a bit more and post a bit less for a while - we've seen others before in here like you, posting 50 or 60 times a day for a period, and usually they don't last very long - they soon burn out. Please stay, but take it easy!

Once I'm working again I will stop. I probably have the highest post per day count on here, lol. I will take your advice and post less, I've been trying to do so for a while with no luck. And I will certainly stop posting anything in "Welcome" thread apart from saying Hi.

Well the sun is out and the sky is blue , anyone fancy outdoor fun in cheshire today im game are you. i actually think new people come on here not realising were quite a community , as there are lots of simmiler intrest sites that are blatent fuck me now types.

Dewi,Mike didn't tell you to stop, he gave you some good advice because he has been here a while thats all. With regard to your remarks "In that case I apologise and will leave the policing to the professionals." we don't have any professionals on here. all the mods are volunteers and receive nothing in return for their effort. They have been elected by the site admin to moderate on our behalf and as they do a great job its best left to them. As mike also said, you have only been here a very short time and are probably not aware of how the site is moderated or how it works generally. However a couple of weeks is hardly a great length of time to be instructing other newbies how to post.
We need to make everyone feel welcome and allow people to settle in and find their feet. Its daunting for new people in the early days, I remember my early days here only too well and I also remember how the people on here welcomed me and made me feel at home, warts and all and believe me I had plenty metaphorically (including the skirt). Its only when they are very rude or downright obnoxious that we close ranks. I'm sure you mean well and are anxious to fit in yourself, but please give the new people every chance eh.
